The shadi sabotage of my daughter’s wedding by Petal Drops Wedding Studio My daughter had come across Petal Drops wedding planner on WedMeGood app and after an in person meeting with their team comprising of their CEO Mr. Deepanshu, Mr. Ashutosh and Ms. Avantika, we proceeded on signing the MoU. It did seem suspicious in the start given that they had no designated office working space nor a fixed address nor a very inactive Instagram profile with zero to no testimonials, given that a social media profile is what sells in today’s day and age. She still rooted for them and got them onboard only to realise what was supposed to be the most tension free and enjoyable period of her and our lives turned out to be a case of ill planning and pathetic service by the Petal Drops team. Taking more than 10 days to plan a mere save the date to missing promised deadlines and having my daughter repeatedly follow up for each and every deliverable. To the extent that their team member called me and mentioned that we don’t know the way of working and we are not coordinating with vendors, which from my understanding is what a wedding planner is supposed to do. They did not even refund my amount submitted via cheque nor the GST invoice. Instead have been ghosted by the team. I am devastated and shattered by the experience and the state in which they have left my daughter a couple of months before her wedding. To all the to be brides and grooms out there, this is not expected from a wedding planner at all.
