Before I even began the venue hunt, I reached out to photographers - capturing the wedding in its purest form meant so much to me. Khozema from Play the Novel was one of the first people I spoke with, and actually the only one who sent a Google Meet link and turned on his camera. It was clear he was focused on telling a story rather than just capturing a wedding in the standard, cookie-cutter way. That interaction stayed with me, and few other options matched it later. The team, especially Khozema, had spoken with all our family members - both mothers and Shashank too - and it became clear they were the ones to capture our special day. Given how hectic a wedding can be and how easy it is for the bride and groom to forget certain photos, I love how the PTN team made sure to do their best to capture the important moments. For videos we wanted someone who shares similar sense of cinematic aesthetic as well as love for bollywood because our wedding was surely going to have those filmy dance moves.
