He is very gentle person I had an outstation wedding and got my mehendi done by professional Shah 2 days in advance so I was worried about the color fading by the main event (travel + washing up etc) but the mehendi turned out almost black and stayed black-oxblood for 10 days and started fading slowly after almost 2.5 weeks .

I followed his instructions for post-application care and kept my mehendi for around 30 hours, which was a lot of effort, but the results were magnificent..

You could see little details and he incorporated madhubani design with his famous parrot Design for the back of my arms and i could not be happier with how dark Even This back arms were.

My experience was nothing like the reviews here, he charges lot lot more than other bridal mehandi artists out there for the designs which we want. ONLY AND ONLY if you select designs from their century old catalog they charge what they tell, if not even a simpler design what we want is impossible for them to do at a reasonable price. Shah ji was supposed to come to apply my mehendi, he gave me Beautiful peakcock Designs surrounded by lotus flowers with daisies on the front.

He kept customising the designs according to my mind.i was initially stressed about the keeping up mehendi for long hours and avoiding water at all costs. But when he woke up the next morning, i feel was extremely happy to see how the colour was coming out and how beautiful the designs were turning out to be.

Bad experience for my Mehendi function. They did not stick to the pricing that they had quoted and obviously in the day of the event you'll not want to quarrel with them! I had specifically asked and called several days before to remind them to soak herbal mehendi, yet they mixed chemical. We can see it now when it's peeling off the hand after 5days of the event & making hands & feet super-dry and flaky. The person who applied mehendi on my feet made a circle design which was not in the centre on the top of my feet nor was proportionate to the circle on the other feet. On questioning, he said "aapka pair tedha hai!" Did the same for one of the guests when applying mehendi on their hand, saying "aapka haath tedha hai!". Designs were average and not proportionate. I would not recommend them for bridal art, may be okay for guests. Also would suggest to take details of pricing in writing before booking them.

I hired the services of Shah Mehandi Designer for my Bridal Mehendi and also for my family members. He did a Great job and I loved my wedding Mehendi a lot. It was just Beautiful. However, I felt he did not put that much efforts in the Mehendi of my other family members
