This outfit came from Ranas in Jaipur. I insisted on wearing something that had a decent train to make it look more majestic. Since the theme was starry night with midnight blue and silver as the colour scheme, I opted for a rose pink and gold outfit to avoid blending with the dcor. My mother and I saw an outfit similar to what we had in mind and asked the store to make the necessary changes to suit our needs. It consisted of 4 pieces ? lehenga, a long jacket with a train, a bodice and a chunni.

My Mehendi look was simple ? I wanted something with a pop of colour but a unique piece ? I found the outfit I wore randomly when I stopped by in Ranas, Jaipur for a 20 min stop in! It was gota patti which is traditionally Rajasthani.

Hailing from Jaipur i have been to Rana's a lot of times. Located just a couple of kms away from Jaipur bus stand you can easily spot huge boards of Rana's on the building. Rana's has been one of my favourite place to shop since long. The collection is vast including sarees, suits and lehengas. Plus they give special attention to the minute details you are requesting. They can also make a lehenga along with the changes you have requested. I would recommend all brides to at least visit Ranas once.

The store has a lot to offer, whether it's sarees, suits or lehengas. I had purchased my wedding lehenga from them and I absolutely love it. They took note of the little details and made the lehenga exactly how i wanted it to be.

For me, Ranas is the one which makes me think, "ooh I can wear this for the wedding" and then I have to hit my head to remind myself that I am already married :(. Ranas Legacy is the only one that has a variety of lehengas on display for every kind of customer. Read more about Ranas on my blog, Crazy Indian Wedding.
