If you’re looking to get someone for all of your make up and hair requirements, she is the BEST. Be it bride, bridesmaids or for the whole family, she and her team are the first ones I would go to, if flawless make up is your thing, she’s the one. Her team’s precise work, nature, timeliness, everything was very easy and professional, the looks created for each member of the family for all the 4 functions in the wedding were amazing, according to the weather and place, each one understood the different kinds of skin so well. I am so thankful to her and the entire team, kudos to you!

We were lucky to get her services at my marriage for my wife in Goa. Her makeup was amazing yet subtle and my wife absolutely loved her. Her timeline was also good with my wife getting ready on time for all her functions. One of the best out there

[ ] Overall disappointment for UK mother of bride in booking this rajkot based make up artist as she ruined atmosphere at daughters wedding in Nov 2025 and provided substandard services [ ] Detailed times given months in advance with detailed notes on looks and hair. [ ] Arrived late on first day so it resulted in rush make up and hair for bride. Draping of such a bad standard that relatives were horrified that in Gujarat such a terrible drape could be done, that they took it upon themselves to drape bride and mother of bride delaying ceremony and cutting out photoshoot which we had paid a large sum of money for [ ] The ultra HD makeup for mother of bride and hair aged mother by 15 years. Family and friends were shocked to see the aged look, resulting in no time to redo look due to delayed timings. Draping was so rushed and poor, yet when voiced just told by Rashida it was complimentary so she didn't take seriously. The pictures below show mother with her normal makeup and hair and one completed by senior makeup artist, and charged at six times the market rate. False lashes fell off even before mandap ceremony started, and again after reapplication, meaning they had to be removed totally. [ ] Following this ceremony we were super rushed for haldi ceremony. Here the bride was prepared by Rashida, but after the morning's events closer attention had to be paid by bride meaning no relaxation but tenseness to monitor make up and hair throughout. In particular, bride very disappointed that a bridal artist has no skil in applying basics like even foundation and could not line lips or eyes. [ ] Sister of bride again charged six times the market rate for senior artist, and knowing a great deal more about makeup application had to redo parts of makeup as it was unsatisfactory. Sister of bride redid her lips as lining done badly wrong colour applied, eyelashes had to be removed as put on badly, no primer added hence foundation sat badly, blush applied incorrectly and no contouring or bronzer added. She was so delayed in getting ready that she missed photoshoot and couple entry alongwith 30 minutes of ceremony. This again was totally unacceptable. All corrections left up to client, and Rashida then had the audacity to come to event to take pictures of sister of bride claiming her team was responsible for her look. Totally outrageous. [ ] Rashida fully challenged about quality of services of mandap and haldi straight after haldi. Very emotional for mother of bride as she had ruined our mood and functions. Sister of bride distraught and cancelled her sangeet and wedding makeup. Rashida pleaded to be given a second chance and called upon another subcontracted senior artist for following functions. After the turmoil of mandap makeup all guests who had makeup and hair booked for sangeet and wedding were seriously contemplating whether they also cancel. [ ] The other senior artist, local contractor in Rajkot was fully subcontracted and independent. Being mother of bride, fully drained by poor service on breaking point while getting ready for sangeet and wedding. For both evenrs i had to bring forward start times to allow time for self redo should a disaster occur. Luckily, Janvi handled matters with great compassion and I ended up with looks which were similar to those given. Rates again charged much more by Rashida, so I'd suggest guests and close family directly source artists than be charged extortionate sums as we did. [ ] After completion of all events Rashida paid in full timely after last event, which was another small ceremony in Goa four days after wedding. [ ] I felt all feedback was necessary so voiced in writing stating monies I had lost due to her timings and poor quality. The bridal makeup and hair carried out personally was of a good standard, but bride on edge the whole time as she had to micromanage all steps to achieve her desired looks. A bride should never have to if detailed pictures are provided well in advance, so if you are a bride looking for a stress free relaxing experience this artist is not for you. Rashida indicated bride would need 3 hours for wedding day but she took 5 hours. No sense of timing, and all they say is just 10 minutes to go and hours pass by. At the end of 5 hours bride forced to do review, knowing she was making her late for photoshoots. Clients should never be forced for reviews, clearly this shows complete selfishness on Rashida's part. Hair extensions for sangeet and wedding were so painful for bride and sister of bride they cried in pain at end of events, both suffered migraines. [ ] Rashida is now expecting to charge me additional prices, not agreed and threatened me with legal action. I have even paid 11,000 rupees in travel which were not detailed ever when booking was confirmed. Bridal trial charged in full yet during all events guidance had to be provided, surely this defeats purpose of a trial. I as mother of bride repeatedly asked for a trial, but it never happened and drama occurred ruining my memories as mother of bride for significant part of ceremonies.

I did a trial with Rashida and found the make up to be flawless and very skin like. My wedding make up too was amazing! She is patient, calm and gave me great ideas for my outfits including hair - a look that I would never have imagined on myself but tuned out to be amazing. As a bride, I would suggest you get an idea of what you want so you can do it faster and Rashida will make it happen :)

Rashida was very professional! Her makeup was very good, didn’t look cakey and the pics came out very well too! However, hairstyling and saree draping, she could have done better! Overall we were very happy!!

Highly Unprofessional & Disappointing I had booked Rashida Parekh personally for my mehendi event after trusting the pictures I saw on wedmegood . However, on the day of my function, she did not come herself and instead sent her assistant Alkin, claiming she is her sister and can do the same level of makeup. This was never informed to me in advance, and such a last-minute change was extremely unprofessional. Alkin arrived with two more assistants, and the overall experience was very disappointing. The makeup she did was mediocre, and when it was being redone by another assistant, their explanations about who was who were completely unclear, making the whole situation feel misleading. What upset me most was that Rashida already knew the exact date and time of my event, yet still failed to manage her schedule and simply sent someone else without my consent. My relatives were also unhappy with their makeup — most of it did not last and started coming off shortly after the function. I clearly expressed to her that this caused me unnecessary stress on my special day, and the service provided was nowhere close to what was promised or expected, especially considering the amount paid. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing, unprofessional, and definitely not worth the money. I would not recommend her to future brides. DO NOT BOOK HER... COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL.
