Where do I start? Choosing a wedding photographer and videographer is probably the most important decision to make in planning a wedding (in my opinion at least). The photos and the wedding film are going to be the only physical evidence that's going to allow us to re-live our important day for years to come. So naturally, deciding on wedding photographers was such a difficult task for me and my partner. We had been in touch with a few great photographers in Chennai, but what sealed the deal was Aadil's personal touch through our initial phone call. From that moment onwards, till our album and films were delivered, it felt like I was interacting with a friend. Aadil and his team were splendid. If you're looking for these qualities with your wedding photography team, then go with Roving Lens without a second thought: 1. Communication - Excellent communication maintained by the team throughout the process till the very end through whatsapp messages and phone calls where needed. 2. Non-invasive photography - I cannot emphasise how important this was! The wedding is busy, chaotic and nerve wracking as it is and the last thing you need is a photography team ordering you around/ invading private moments for 'special photos' and disrupting the natural flow of events. During the flow of the wedding and the reception I barely noticed the team - they were quietly spread across the important parts of the venue capturing every moment. This brings me to my next point 3. A big team - There were always 6-8 (or more) team members (mix of candid & conventional photographers/ videographers and light assistants) to make sure nothing was missed and this allowed the non-invasive capturing. 4. Honest & Accommodating - There were a few moments during the process where I didn't entirely agree/understand the details/arrangements. And whenever I had a different opinion I was able to freely discuss this with Aadil and his team. He was always patient and gave honest insights into the functionality and logistics. Furthermore, my partner and I were nit-picking key details in our wedding film and went through a few edited versions with the team over a period of 4-6 weeks. The team patiently obliged to all our requests and the final product was perfect and to our liking. 5. Turnaround time - We received all our deliverables (photo album, conventional video and wedding film) within 4-5 weeks from the date of the wedding. We obviously then fed back some changes and edits as mentioned above. But, incredible delivery time and I didn't have to chase them once. Easily worth their quote! And no, I did not get paid for this detailed review lol - just an honest review from a satisfied customer :)

I’m sharing this review after almost 1.5 years of my wedding, but OH MY GOD! The pictures! 😩😩😩 We just got to choose the pictures for our album and it was sooo hard not to select everything! 😭😭😭 Special mention to whoever handled the candid photoshoot. Absolutely amaaazing work! Such unique shots that most people wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. Another HUGE shoutout for the colour grading, shots and angles! OUT OF THE WORLD! I have no words! Especially the night shots. They were tooooo good! Thank you for making us relive our memories 🥹 I actually got goosebumps and got super emotional just seeing the pictures. I only had two big "I need this" for my wedding, Venue & Photography. I spent a lot of time searching for the unique one. I told my fiance, I'll know what I'm looking for when I see one, and then I found them through Instagram. I was so confident about their output I didn't even bother to talk to them about what my expectations were before the wedding & only met them on the wedding day. I'm beyond impressed and my whole family & friends are impressed on what they are capable of. They play with the lights & capture shots that are so unique and stand out in the midst of over colourful and saturated wedding pictures. And the videos are nothing less than an actual movie, we re-live those moments with happy tears everytime we see the videos. I don't know how they knew, what I liked and wanted, the videos were so perfect it barely needed any corrections. I always wanted to be in a GVM's VTV, now I have one. Thank you so much RovingLens! Our non traditional - non religious wedding! We were looking for a team that understood our non religious and unique approach. From our very first phone call with Aadil we knew Roving Lens was the perfect fit for our wedding. They were enthusiastic and understanding of our unique non religious Wedding Ceremony. They carefully listened to our needs and customised a package suitable for us. The entire team took the time to understanding our ceremonies. The team was professional, fun and non intrusive while they captured our Wedding events. They stuck to promised delivery timelines and were accommodative of any edits and changes we wanted. We absolutely loved how the pictures and videos turned out, especially the candied shots. They beautifully wrote about and explained our Wedding Ceremony through their videos. The quality of the album delivered to us was very good, classy and neat. We also really liked the digital album, it was easily to share and access our images. For my wedding and reception, I was open to going through the poses because I wanted them to look good. Aadil and his team made it feel so normal that I was comfortable, and the photos look gorgeous. My friends and I who didn't know what this might produce were so happy with the videos(with so little inputs from us) and photos, that they saw the value for this experience and maybe budget time for photography better. I rushed them on the albums, requested for changes on videos, but they accomodated everything. Looking through the photos reminds me of the moments that we took them, including all the interactions with the team. Would love to work with them again, definitely worth it all.
