Ruhani Puri was my make up artist on my wedding day and she had done quite a good job. I really liked her work and loved the make up. She is professional and her skills are really good, she is talented enough! She has also maintained her studio nicely. It was a good experience!

As a Houstonion, I was extremely nervous about getting a professional make up artist for my wedding functions in India. Little did I know there was and is a hidden gem in Amritsar, Punjab. Ruhani Puri is by far one of the BEST make up artist that India and the US (limited to my experience) has to offer. The first day Ruhani’s team came to my hotel room, I was thoroughly impressed. She came with a team of 4, including herself. The team was extremely professional and conducted themselves with sophistication. They gave me a thorough cleansing of my face, including a sheet mask, and made sure my face was fresh and ready for my first day of functions. They also adjusted themselves very humbly in the living room of our suite and said we can work “anywhere you put us.” First, I will speak only about Ruhani Puri, the make up artist and director of the company. She was an utter professional. As someone raised in the States, I was very particular about an artist that I can communicate with/ who can speak English well. Ruhani (Di) understood everything I needed and adjusted her style to my needs. She gave me looks that didn’t “mask” my beauty, but “enhanced” it. She used the best brands in the market. Because I have sensitive skin, most artists that I have worked with leave residue or cause acne on my skin due to the products that they use. Ruhani’s products were top notch and she started each day with refreshing my skin with masks, therefore my skin had no bad after effects. Her foundation went on smoothly, and she really catered to my needs and my likings. I was particularly impressed during my reception night, she had put bold eyeshadow and lashes on me. I wanted a softer look, she heard my needs and corrected the look in the matter of minutes. That was an attestestation of a true make up artists - quickly correcting and satisfying the customer. I will also say that her social media does not give her justice, her work is truly flawless. I also want to make special mention of Sonia. She was Ruhani Puri’s right hand in terms of support and specifically, hairstyles. Sonia is one of a kind, most artist can’t look at a picture and replicate a style - Sonia can! She was so thorough and clean with all the hairstyles she did on me. She recommended great things and made each item on my body secure from my chunni, to tikka, to hair. She was so sweet and her work was elegant. Because families get so busy during wedding time, I have to credit the Ruhani Puri girls for staying by my side through my wedding! They calmed me, dolled me up, and made me feel very excited and confident about my looks. Uber credit to the team and special credit to Ruhani Puri for grooming such a team of professionals. Also, want to give a special thanks to my bhabhi dearest who recommended Ruhani Puri and her spectacular team.

Ruhani is an amazing person with incredible talent. She understood exactly what I wanted in terms of my need of natural looking makeup and a face of my own with no over the top or cakey makeup. She delivered what she was asked of on my engagement day. MY makeup lasted for more than 12 hours and looked fresh even by the end of day and pictures turned out amazing. Apart from being my extraordinary makeup artist, she has a golden heart. She took time out to drop me to the engagement venue when my driver was running late :) How many people would do that! Believing on someone without even getting any pre bridal demo or anything, that can only be Ruhani Puri. I chose her only by following her on insta and wedmegood while being in New Zealand. Initially, I was so scared but when I met her first time, I know I don’t need to be scare anymore. And on every function, she dolled me up and all I got was compliments from every single person. Its been 2 months and I still get compliments from friends in India and New Zealand. She is the best makeup artist I have met so far. And only does natural makeup. Hey wed me good!!!you need to extend the star ratings..because 5 does not justify to Ruhani Puri.. Ruhani Puri?? She is not a makeup artist.I think she is some beauty enhancer machine.because i personally have tried many makeup artists but could not get what i actually wanted.(makeup is not just applying products and make your cost worth with the amount of things u used but the amount of satisfaction. Trust me she does not make u look beautiful for other but you feel beautiful.honestly saying i did not wash my face that day. May be i am extending so much but let me just make it more easy for u guys. To start with I never write reviews but in Ruhani's case I wanted to do it with a lot of patience so that I type everything down which she truly deserves.To begin with I don't have much of knowledge about make up and going by my past experiences of getting ready from other salons at various occasions my experience was not a very good one because when you dont know much about the technicalities of make up you cannot guide the other person working on you and just be guinea pig to him.So this was the first thing I was very apprehensive about for getting ready for my big day. Like any other 'Bride to Be' I was very anxious whether my makeup would suit me on my big day. Ruhani made everything fall in place, engagement makeup was subtle and just apt, wedding makeup was accurately sparkling.
