I booked Saffiyah and her team for my brother's wedding. When I talked to her on phone she seemed very flexible and understanding of our requirements but the same was not shown on the day of the event. While Saffiyah seemed to have some understanding of what she was doing, the other 2 members of her team lacked skills. The staff doing the base makeup did not match the makeup with our skin tone even though we clearly told we want a natural looking finish. When told that we felt its too light they falsely tried to justify by saying that the overly light colour makeup would settle to match our skin tone gradually but that didn't happen and me and my family members ended up looking like we deliberately made ourselves whiter that too with patchy foundation which was obviously clearly visible in the photos. It was very hard to convince Saffiyah to do the eye makeup or put the lipstick shade we wanted as she kept trying to push her opinion on us and was unpleasant to whoever made any suggestions or wanted something different. I get that she has experience and knows what is trending or what might look good/bad but she and her team needs to listen to customers and not disregard any opinion of ours just because we're not professionals! The entire team needs to learn how to give advice from their experience without making customers or other non professionals feel unheard or unaware about what looks good on us. Don't even get me started on the hairstylist! I asked for a simple puff hairstyle which literally EVERYONE knows but the hairstylist just couldn't do even this basic style for me - not even with a hair puff volumizer! 🙁 She simply gave up after trying saying the most unprofessional thing - "I don't know how to do puff for your hair". This clearly shows how underskilled she is. I had to adjust with a simple straightened open hairstyle at the end. If I wanted to just leave my hair open I wouldn't need their services at all, I could have managed that by myself. Overall, I was not satisfied with the work and behaviour of Saffiyah and her team! I would suggest others to first get a trial done with Saffiyah and her team- especially if you're booking her for your big day and then decide. I personally feel it would have been better to pay 1000 extra to someone else and be satisfied with my look.

I had booked Saffiyah for doing makeup and venue for few wedding guests including me. Firstly she arrived late and blamed it on the traffic. She whitewashed all the guests' faces and when asked to match the skin colour, she said that it would look good at night. When I asked my husband to see if my makeup is looking good, she commented "Is he a makeup artist?", as if everyone else in the wedding would be a make up artist. The makeup looked so white in daylight. And the makeup did turn patchy and separated after a couple of dances for all the members who had the make up done. When I told her that I didn't like her service she said because i had opted for guest makeup. Are all the guests supposed to go for bridal makeup? 😤 She talks back and has excuses for everything. I had booked her after seeing her few good reviews so it's possible that she does a good makeup at studio but don't book her for venue makeup. The hair artist was hopeless. Her hair straightener broke while doing hair of the 1st person, shortcircuiting the entire room. The mangtika she put was crooked. She didn't even know how to apply extensions. When asked to fix they try to justify everything. They asked me to do a straight hair parting myself. WTH I really wish that i could post my pictures here but i hated my makeup so much that I feel embarrassed in sharing the pics. I looked 10 years older than I am. I could have done a better job myself at any day. I do feel bad in giving a negative review but i do want to help any other person who might go through the same ordeal.

Saffiyah quadri is a very professional makeup artist. She values time and your emotions. I had a wonderful experience getting dolled up by her. I have no words to express my feelings about Saffiyah. She made my wedding day extra special by her enchanting makeup. Everyone said I looked surreal ♥️

Oh what should i say about Saffiyah! She is magic and bliss. The best part about my wedding ❤️ She gave me 6 different looks altogether and i till date can’t decide which was the best because they were all out of the world! More than just her work, she was such a warm person! In the middle of all the chaos, the couple of hours when I was with her, it always felt so chill and relaxing! Saffiyah is the most talented, amazing, makeup artist there is and I am SO glad my friend recommended her for my wedding. My mom and I went to my trial together and we instantly fell in love with saffiyah's charm, wonderful personality and thoughtfulness. She listened to my ideas and utilized the pictures I brought to create the perfect look I wanted for my makeup for the wedding. I went to her for my makeup for my engagement and everyone loved it. She has an amazing talent and is perfect at her artistry. She did the makeup for my sister, my mom, and myself on my wedding day and we ALL looked flawless and beautiful. My sister remarked on how well our makeup lasted throughout the ENTIRE day and how you didn't even feel it on your face, which was a huge plus since it was so hot out that day. Saffiyah even made sure that my makeup lasted the entire day. Saffiyah quadri is a very fine and detailed make up artist. The make up was subtle yet glamourous. She managed to do make over for the bride, my sisters and my mom. She did age appropriate make over. She didn't need any guidance. She came prepared and was very punctual and a very friendly and happy person to deal with. I received lots of compliments, she knows how to highlight the natural best features and how to create illusions on the face for a defined and a photograhy ready face. Would highly recommend her for Make Up and Hair Style, Khada Duppatta Drape and Ghagra Drape. She is easy going and would not be upset if we asked for a change of color or touch up prior to leaving.

Even before i planned to get married I had already decided that I would be getting my makeup done by saffiyah ma'am. one of my friend got her makeover done by her on her reception. she looked beautiful???????????? the way ma'am made her features stand out, it was perfect. I have been to many makeup studios with various makeup artists but no one compares to the work of saffiyah ma'am.
