My wedding was a 2-day affair with 4+ events at a beautiful location in Kumbhalgarh, Rajasthan. I planned all my outfits and finalized Sanjana as my MUA while in the US, trusting the instincts of my very close friend who met and trialed with her in Mumbai. After arriving in India, I met with Sanjana to discuss all my looks and for a quick trial which I was super impressed with. She was very confident about her work and explained patiently all the steps that went into getting a flawless look. I have been an ‘only Kajal’ girl all my life and my only brief to Sanjana was that I want a minimal yet fresh look that aptly goes with each event. Even though it was 2 days of shenanigans, we were always rushing through the events, and just before starting the makeup Sanjana would quickly explain to me what she was thinking and I trusted her 100% to go ahead with it. She is an artist who does not adhere to typical practices and tries new stuff that is fresh to the eyes. I especially love her work on the eyes, it is incredible. Truly speaking I am not at all the make up person. Make up I do is only kajal & liner. Hence people have habit of seeing me in my natural look more. For my Engagement & Reception I was looking for MUA in Mumbai and also spoke to many about my requirements since I wanted "Suttle Makeup". I visited many famous MUA in Mumbai and took trails from them and I wasn't able to see myself since inspite of warning them about my requirements they went very loud ( really bad ). I was hesitant to hire a make up artist due to my poor experiences earlier. However, Sanjana was the first makeup artist who actually listened to what I wanted instead of doing what she thought would look good. I must say she is the best! I took her services for my engagement, pre-wedding shoot, sangeet, aayez, haldi and wedding (Looking forward to more occasions :) ).
