I found Shah through one of the wed me good website and left a message for his coz it was late night and I thought I shouldn’t bother anyone and hence, I wasn’t expecting any reply. But to my surprise, I got a call within half an hour of my enquiry.

Extremely bad experience. I hired Shah Mehendi Arts for a wedding in my family in December 2025 & had a terrible experience. They are liars of the highest degree. First of all the main person you talk to who is their main artist doesn’t come to apply mehendi, he sends some random artists who do a VERY BAD JOB. They deliberately push guests to increase the length without my knowledge saying small length doesn’t look good & then charge a whopping 1500 per hand, when I had very clearly already fixed the price to 350-400 per hand for guests right at the time of booking. Even for bridal they overcharged exuberantly a sum of 12k when I had fixed the price to 7-8k max & he was supposed to inform that to the bride so that she can choose her design based on the same. The design for all guests were extremely bad, not worth paying even 200, let alone 1500. All the artists ruined the design for every single guest, they were very rude & arrogant as well & specifically one artist misbehaved with us as well when we called them out for their scam. The pictures they share on social media are misleading & probably stolen from some other artists coz we didn’t get to have that despite paying a whopping sum of 45k at the end, please DO NOT BOOK THEM. Also, the mehendi quality was very cheap, it was in no way “organic” that was promised to us at the time of booking. It was peeling off in just a couple days which proves it was chemical mehendi. Despite complaining about all this to their main artist with whom I had been communicating with all this long who assured me he would be the one coming to apply the mehendi, he did not even bother responding or apologising, let alone refunding the overcharged money. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THEM.

I had hired Shah Mehandi person for my sister's wedding Mehandi ceremony. The bridal mehandi was beyond disappointing. He literally drew clouds on her arms and did a careless job with her mehandi overall. Charged more than we had agreed on over initial calls. Even the guest mehandi was quite disappointing. If you do plan to get mehandi from them, ensure you give them the design yourself and ask them to do exactly the same and don't hesitate to get it removed and redone if done shabbily.

He was very patient understanding my taste and I did specify I want something that is not usual human face and figures but simple yet elegant Design

I hired Shah Mehendi for my Mehendi in Bengaluru. I was promised many things, none of which were fulfilled. Shahil said he will come himself to put the bridal Mehendi but instead sent some random people. I was clear about my request for organic Mehendi but the quality of the Mehendi they used was absolutely terrible - it peeled off in 2 days like a tattoo, not just for the bridal but all the other guests complained about the same. Shahil was very reassuring on the phone before the date about how they create organic Mehendi and test it a week earlier but it was obvious that they used the ones with chemicals. On top of this, for an additional few cms length, they charged us 2k for a hand when I was told that all guest hands cost 500. I would not have complained if they did a good job with the design - it was very badly done. The men were not skilful at all, kept on laughing at us for asking normal questions and also fought with my mother whose Mehendi they ruined. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

It was a blunder to have booked them for our mehendi function. They sent some young artists who were still learning and they applied very bad mehendi to our relatives. I kept insisting for a minimal mehendi design for myself and they did not listen to my requirements and also charged more

They did a superlative job artistically but more than that their calming presence was so wonderful.

I followed his instructions for post-application care and kept my mehendi for around 16 hours, which was a lot of effort, But the Results were magnificent

We changed the timings twice and had to change the venue and he had to stay till 2am and he never displayed any frustration; on the contrary He was so comforting and had such a calming effect on all of us. I felt so grateful for his company .
