Shahid's Makeover

I regret choosing this studio for my wedding. They charged me 50,000 INR and completely ruined my big day. Their level of unprofessionalism is staggering—they demanded the full payment before I was even ready, and the moment the makeup was 'done,' the main artist literally ran away. He didn't stay to see the final look, didn't check in on me once, and was nowhere to be found when I needed adjustments. ​They are so careless that they even forgot to apply basic nail paint, leaving my bridal look incomplete. The hair was even worse—totally messy and not what was promised. I previously paid 15,000 INR to an artist in Pathankot who did a fabulous, professional job; meanwhile, this place charged more than triple for a disaster. A bride's vidai is one of the most emotional moments of her life, and because the makeup was not applied professionally or set correctly, it began to come off immediately when I cried. Instead of being present in the moment, I felt the 'harassment' of worrying about my face melting away. ​I cannot even look at my wedding photographs now because they bring back the memory of how stressed and disappointed I felt. They take your money and then treat you like a production line rather than a bride. Please, save your money and your peace of mind—do not go here." Was so calm and professional. He made me feel at ease and his work was just perfect. I felt like a princess and he made me look like a dream and more, I’m so happy with the wedding day look. His a true artist and amazing human being. Source

I had a terrible experience at shahid naar. He refused to listen to what I wanted and went about doing my makeup as he pleased. I came back to the venue to re touch my own makeup because it wasn’t upto standard. He was over an hour late for an event and that delayed our whole day. He was especially rude to my sisters who were there with me and he asked them to “get out” of his showroom. Terrible. Would not recommend.

It was the worst experience ever. I have never came across such an arrogant person. Instead of apologizing for the mistake, he lashed out back saying he doesn’t care. Spoiled the most beautiful day of sister. Never gonna recommend to anyone.

Booked him for bridal services, his team was very late and rude & delayed our whole event. When we wanted to talk to him about why he was late, he didn’t wanted to talk about it. BEAWARE before booking him.

I booked him for my wedding and reception party. His team and him are so unprofessional people. He arrived 3 hours late on my wedding day which caused so much stress for everybody. And instead of apologizing this man got a lot ego. Had a terrible experience with him and his team. Only mistake I made in my wedding is choosing him as my makeup artist.

He did makeup for my sister in law for her wedding. He did a great job. The makeup was flawless and it was just like she wanted. It was not at all cakey. They used really good products and those that would suit her skin type. Lovely makeup. Recommended.
