In our wedding, one of the most difficult task was the selection of a photographer. Somehow, we saw Shiv's portfolio and were highly impressed with his past work. We met him for an initial chat and he completely won us over with the honesty with which he spoke. For camera-shy people like us, he was a wonderful match. It was really easy to work with him. He was always ready to accommodate our requirements and made time for meeting the families in advance. His energy, creativity, and spontaneity made the entire experience even better. He doesn't take photographs, he makes them- This is how I shall describe Shiv's work. His shots are work of art! While going through my wedding photographs, the one key quality that I really appreciated about his work was his anticipation of the moment worthy of a picture of a lifetime. His pictures depict a unique visual perspective of an event, and hence most of our wedding shots were far from cliched. I have followed Shiv's work since, and it is such a joy to go through his work,even if I do not know the married couple at all! Another great thing about Shiv is his fun-loving and easy-going nature. Having known Shiv for almost 5 years now and watching his passion for photography grow by the day, I feel so proud to see him work to deliver such perfection. Although I have never got a chance to get clicked by him, but after every picture he posts, I only get more determined to make sure that one day he clicks my pictures too. A super fun loving, extremely focused, and amazingly creative person that he is, I am left spell bound when I look at the pictures he clicks. Those frames tell a story, they describe the emotion of the moment so well you feel like you witnessed it in person. From experimenting with angles and lights to conceptualizing an entire shoot, Shiv pays sheer dedication to his work and his clients. It's no wonder that people who come in as clients become friends by the end of the assignment. I have smiled ear to ear after looking at his shots, even shed a tear or two sometimes because the captured moment was so heart touching. I think that's Shiv Sharma Photography is. We always wanted someone who understood us. And for Shiv it surely wasnt a difficult job. Awesome, creative, energetic, patient, teamplayer, humble and grounded. Shiv truly understands what is the need of the hour and is a true professional. His photography has definitely brought life to our wedding and speaks a thousand words whenever I see them. The most memorable was pre wedding shoot. Namrata and I are both introverts and never thought we can be comfortable shooting on the streets. It was great to work with Shiv and his team.I contacted him at the nick of the time and he squeezed a day in between to cover our wedding. My husband and I both are camera shy people,Shiv did a great job by capturing candid moments. The wedding pictures have come out real well. It is everything I wanted my wedding pictures to be. Believe me when I say - 'Words don't do justice to describe what an amazing photographer Shiv is.' So, when I stumbled upon his profile on WMG, I honestly thought he would be out of our budget. I mean come on, his gallery is amazing, some pictures are beyond gorgeous. But I thought to give it a shot. I contacted him through WMG and he was super prompt to contact me back (funny coincidence, he turned out to be an ex-employee of the company I currently work in). Anyway, I was beyond excited when he gave me a great deal for a pre-wedding shoot. We met soon after to discuss the theme of the shoot. He wanted to know us as a couple and gave us great ideas. I really wanted a shoot that screamed 'Us' and not something which everyone did just for the sake of it. So, as per Shiv's suggestions we decided on Chandni chowk and the Lodhi Art District as the shoot destinations. He and his crew was just beyond sweet. We drove down together, had chai, chole kulche and what not. It really felt like a little picnic with friends and not like a pre wedding shoot. We started and 8 AM and were free by 2 PM. As promised, we got the pictures within a week to 10 days. The result!!! OH MY GOD. Sheer perfection, the pictures were way way way better than what we had expected. Two of our pictures were featured on WMG's inspiration wall. Our shoot was number 2 in the top 10 pre wedding shoot destinations in Delhi featured in an article on WMG. We were again featured twice in the same article posted by LBB Delhi which had our picture as it's story cover. So yeah, we became a bit famous overnight, need I say more? I admire photography in general, a lot. I follow a number and I been a number of professional photographers on facebook and instagram but Shiv is by far my Favorite. He has a rare eye to capture the most beautiful candid moments and it's an understatement to say - 'Yes, I recommend him'. You'll be lucky if he does a shoot for you. Trust me, he is simply amazing. Apart from his skills, he's a great human being, humble and totally down to earth. Loves animals, you'll see him feeding and petting stray dogs if he sees one. You need your photographer to be creative, calm and composed, polite and respectful (to your family & guests), understanding of your vision/ look, punctual, super detail oriented and most of all superbly talented. Shiv Sharma and his team are all that! We found Shiv on Wed Me Good and had no trouble reaching out to him. He is very punctual in responding to emails and very accommodating when coordinating phone calls (we don't live in India). He answered each and every question of ours in detail. Closer to our date, he explained exactly how he wanted to shoot us for the pre-wedding shoot. Once we were there, he made us feel very comfortable and just started doing his thing. The photographs came out breath-taking and him and Raunak made it seem so effortless. The team is fun, friendly, energetic and great to work with. the photographs speak for him and his team. We were very happy with Shiv's work and professionalism - he is an absolute star. Shiv has a calm head on his shoulders and is extremely personable , two very important traits for a wedding photographer. I am a big Bollywood Buff and have grown up watching all the larger than life YRF heroines. It was my dream to feel like one, at least for a day and Shiv made that possible. <p>With the candid photography trend kicking in and all the brides wanting to look their prettiest best, it becomes the duty of the groom to look for the right balance of capturing the beginning of their new life more beautifully and at the same time minding the budget... I looked across for many options to find a good match as mentioned above and luckily (by this I mean I was really very lucky here) I came across Shiv. Ours was a South Indian style wedding (a lot of resemblance in scenario to the 2 states wedding) and we were not sure if a North Indian photographer will be able to do justice to the rituals and customs. Also we were wondering if we'll be able to connect to the photographer (this matters a lot as unless u connect all poses look artificial and the photos will not turn out as u expect it to be) I had heard of him before but the final nail in the deal was when I called him up. I found a friend in the first conversation itself causing us to believe more in him.. Shiv is a very humble and reliable person. No matter how far he had to move for his work, he was present to cover all our functions at all weird timings (South Indian marriages usually happen early morning and are a lot less fun :P) He connected with the entire family and spotted all the moments well.. His photos were appreciated by all friends and family alike. All I would like to say is consider him for any candid photography you would like to do and you'll have memories more grand than the actual event and a friend for life!!!</p>
