As I was exploring and researching various designers/decorators across Instagram, Google and their respective websites, I stumbled upon Shyamalee Thevarâs work and I was interested to see her take on similar events. I contacted Shyamalee and in our first few conversations, I was still wondering if she would be the right person for our events in terms of our budget as well as the elements we had in mind. It is to be noted that we were planning from overseas for 4 events in two days at a resort She worked on an initial plan, getting all the details and planning through numerous phone calls and Skype calls. She managed to include all of the details that were important to us, and my mom which made us realize that she would be the best person for this job. I do not think any other team would have pulled this off without the customers meeting in person. In all of our conversations, she treated us as friends, as someone she knew for a long time. She was funny as well as professional, basically in her own skin. She eventually went on to plan a 5th event which I was very concerned about since it would become too hectic. However, she managed to do all that and everyone loved the event. It was this characteristic trait of hers that led us to take her help with management as well. We had only a month left for the big day and our families were all over the place. It was starting to get very chaotic and Shyamalee came forward and managed the event amazingly well. She took care of the hospitality, logistics in addition to decoration and set-ups at the resort. In short,I would not hesitate to recommend Shyamalee and her team for any event as they are very versatile and adapt to any environment and put their customersâ interest first.
