It won’t be an exaggeration if I say that she literally rescued me considering I want able to find a good artist based out of Pune to style me on my big day. My venue was based out of a resort in Amba Ghat. Given the location, and peak wedding season, I had limited choice of makeup artists. I had booked someone else already but I wasn’t quite happy. I came across Sneha’s profile after I saw a friend’s wedding photo and I was sure that I wanted Sneha to be the artist for my wedding day too. Sparing no time, I contacted her, she immediately responded with her package details. I confirmed the booking within a day without even taking a trial from her. As I was completely sure from her insta portfolio that I had found my perfect stylist! I met her a month before my wedding to discuss my and my gang’s looks. She was in touch with my family members separately for their look requirements too, that made coordination really easy. She and her team was booked for three events - my wedding and four pre wedding functions as grahamakha puja, haldi, mehendi and sangeet. All my functions were back to back and we had a lot of people lined up for makeup with her team. But Sneha executed it all fabulously with ease. All her team was thoroughly professional, punctual and very kind to accommodate our tantrums and last minute whims:) All of my looks were beyond my expectations. Sneha's make up is absolutely amazing! I had 3 makeups done for my wedding ceremonies. I liked how she did the make up differently all the 3 times based on the saree color/ outfit/ occasion. My friends told me they couldn't stop staring at my face on my wedding and in the wedding pictures - that itself is a compliment to her make up (not my face ;)). Initially when I was searching for a makeup artist, I was extremely worried about bridal makeup in general because to me bridal make up was like caking up. I must have contacted and checked work of about 30-40 artists all over Mumbai. Even in some of the best known works I saw, I could see brides had a caked up face. Sneha's make up is wonderful. Her makeup gave a glamorous and classy bridal look with no caking. This combination is hard to find. I got a trial done which was totally worth the time as we could discuss changes in skin tone (base makeup), different looks for the different times she was going to do my make up, hairstyles, etc. Further, from start to end, Sneha was very responsive and honest and a joy to work with. Hey there future brides, a detailed analysis of my experience with Sneha and here team. Hope this helps you to decide whether she is the one for you and her team for your family!! 1) First and foremost Sneha is not only good for complete make overs or glam looks but also extremely talented for subtle and sober makeup. You can see these in her portfolio very clearly. For me one of her bride's picture was the reason i approached her. It was very important for me, that people recognize me with all the make up and not say things like you look so different.I still wanted to be me. And she understood the point and took care of it. 2) Get that trial done (if possible) She charges a small fee for it but its worth it. Not only you get to see her skills, but it also helps to bond with her and let's her understand your likes and dislikes. So that on your day, she customizes things as per you. Although trial may not give a complete picture of her skills, as make up looks good when we give it it time to settle and when we are all dressed up to complement that look. 3) Her team - Equally good. It was very important for me, that my mom and sister look equally good. With her team your family is in good hands. 4) Charges - I think its as per the market rates only. Not too high not too low. 5) Sneha and her team - is very talented. But this in itself is not important. There are other factors that have helped me and i guess its important for everyone else also. She and her entire team is: a) Punctual. And don't need reminders. b) Accommodating and adjusting c) Very soft spoken d) Professional 6) Other feedback a) They can work on their skill of draping saree. No doubt they did a good job but at times they had to re do it. which took a bit of time. The speed and correctness becomes important when there are more people needing assistance. b) Her team's speed of doing make up and hair. No doubt there work was upto mark and we were all happy and satisfied. But they are a bit slow. So there were few others who wanted to get it done seeing their skills but couldn't. They can work on this. If i had the chance to go back and decide whether i would want her and her team to do makeup and hair during my functions, i would have gone ahead with her. In fact i got married in November,2019 and one of my cousin sister got engaged in January 2020, and guess who did the makeup and hair during her engagement - Sneha and her team. Sneha did make up for me - Engagement, Sangeet, Wedding, Reception 1 & 2 For pre-wedding shoot - Sneha sent her team member Revati. She is also amazing. Sneha did my make up for my wedding and reception. The moment she did the trial make up I knew I had to hire her for my wedding.
