We had a wonderful experience with Stories from Joyfulproject and team. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful — especially the candid shots. Those natural, unposed moments are truly the ones we’ll be framing and cherishing for a lifetime. What we appreciated most was how comfortable they made us feel throughout the shoot. There was no pressure to pose in a certain way or force artificial expressions. We were able to just be ourselves, and that authenticity really reflects in the pictures. The wedding albums were also designed and finished very well — high quality, elegant, and thoughtfully put together. Overall, we’re so happy we chose them to capture our big day. I recently went to a wedding where, during the couple’s first dance, the photographer literally asked them to redo their final step just so he could get the shot. I mean… yikes. If you want the complete opposite of that, then Joy is your guy. Not once did I see or hear Joy ask us to pose or reenact a moment. He just let us enjoy our day exactly as it happened. Honestly, I was nervous about that at first — I’m not photogenic at all — but somehow the magic of Joy and his team turned real moments into some of the most beautiful photos I’ve ever seen. All our friends said, “Did you even have a photographer at your wedding?” and then when they saw the pictures, they were blown away. If you’re looking for a photographer who captures the real you — the raw emotions, the energy, the tiny moments you don’t even realise are happening — look no further. I can’t thank the Joyful Project team enough for the wedding film they created for us. It was so beautiful, so meaningful, and honestly a hundred times better than anything I had imagined. Watching it felt like reliving every bit of love, joy, and emotion from the day. They captured so many moments I didn’t even know had happened — little gestures and memories I would’ve completely missed. Ours was a traditional Tamil Hindu wedding, something they don’t usually shoot, yet the team took the time to understand every ceremony, ask thoughtful questions, and really immerse themselves in the rituals. We absolutely love how the photos and video had turned out, infact both families felt the same too and we get to re-live the wedding every time we watch it, which must be a atleast a 100 times by now.
