i wont suggest anyone to book story monk. i had a bad experience with story monk, one of the worst actually. kailash is an unprofessional person who doesn't honor his words.He didn't stood by one thing he promised me and failed to deliver, due to which i had to book another photographer on the last moment. Wedding is one of the best moments in anyone's life and such experiences shouldn't come on anyone's way, therefore don't make the mistake of dealing with such arrogant people who just want to take all the money you have. Especially in covid times when trust is important in a transaction, dont trust this guy.

We had taken the services of StoryMonk for candid photography and videography for our wedding . Kailash is a well experienced photographer and he was very supportive to understand our requirements patiently . Unlike common wedding videos , we had expected candid photography and videography which Kailash and his team understood pretty easily. The output was amazing and was liked by all our friends and family . He captured all the funny elements in a candid manner and very precisely compiled them into our wedding video which was really good. I like their innovative ideas around photography which ended up exceeding our expectations to be honest . Moreover , It was very easy to work with their team and they respected the timelines by delivering the output within expected timeframe. Would definitely recommend their work especially if you’re looking for something ‘out of the box’ w.r.t photos and videos for your wedding .

I had a horrible experience working with them. The pictures were good no doubt on that but the professionalism was extremely questionable. They shot my roka in October 2019 & I got married in January 2020. They charged me a sum for roka and the coffee table book with 200 pictures. I got the link to select the pictures sometime in Feb/March. However covid had the hit the world by then and we all forgot about pictures album on dealing with other hardships. 2 months back I got back to them asking for the link to select the pictures and get the album printed. However KAILASH blatantly told me that I will have to pay more for the album now because in past one year the cost has increased. I was surprised initially but was ok eventually because a year had passed and things can change. He said the amount would be marginal and I was ok. However when he later quoted the amount, I was left shocked. The album cost earlier charged to me was 3K which now increased to 15K. A whooping 500% hike when there are no weddings happening around. The whole world is offering major discounts and these guys are experiencing an inflation of 500%. This doesn’t make any logical sense apart from looting in broad daylight. I have decided to not take an album from them. Don’t want any such vibes around the best memories of my life. I am ok to let go of the money I paid also! But a word of caution of all you couples out there. I think conduct matters more than the outcome. And the conduct is extremely QUESTIONABLE.

Kailash & Shilpi are two wonderful souls that became the most loving set for the entire family and friends at our wedding! We can't thank them enough for capturing our wedding with such patience (immense patience!) and adding life to the smallest of ceremony with their style of work. The Story Monk team was a fantastic find and we are so truly happy they chose us and our wedding celebrations to be told through the Storymonk lens. Honesty at its best - The first two conversations with Shilpi and she had clearly laid out what would be feasible or not (no unnecessary up-selling ..read drone photography!) 2. No Fuss team - The team was super non fussy and if they got impatient due to the long wait / uncooperative aunties , they didn't let it on! :) 3. Attention to detail - We loved how all our favourite memories have been captured (and then some we didn't really expect/recall!). It is unbelievable how much effort goes into it 4. Creative freedom - We didn't ask for conventional and we are so glad our videos have those little quirky moments captured with the bengali song, snoring, Battle of the Haldi et al. 5. The Story Monk team covered my wedding which included a mehandi ceremony and the wedding itself. It was a pleasure working with this very professional team. My husband I and are camera shy but everyone was very good with making us feel comfortable. The photos are surreal! Such beautiful candid shots of us and the family. We asked to make a few changes for the long video, since my and my family's song choices are very different from the norm, but the team was very good with accommodating these.
