Disclaimer: A long but important story about how Suri Wedding Planner nearly ruined our wedding.   We hired Mr. Suri for our wedding in April, held in Chail, Himachal Pradesh. While things began on a hopeful note, the experience quickly turned into a nightmare. Despite hearing red flags and negative reviews from friends and family, we decided to give him a chance, hoping our clear communication and planning would make things work. Sadly, it didn’t. We met with Mr. Suri and shared a detailed, self-made presentation of our vision for the décor across all three events. He assured us that 60–80%, if not 100%, of the plan could be done At that time, we were satisfied and excited. But soon after the booking, his behavior changed dramatically. He became difficult, and often outright rude. His tone was condescending, and his choice of words left us stunned. Every small request was met with unreasonably high quotes, and his replies often made us feel as if he was doing us a favour, not delivering a paid service.   Then came the wedding days. To say we were shocked would be an understatement.   The décor was completely off-brief. The colour themes were ignored, the aesthetics were nothing like what we discussed, and the quality was subpar. For our haldi, we were avoiding the traditional yellow theme and requested a vibrant boho setup. Instead, everything was yellow with barely a hint of boho elements.   There was supposed to be a photobooth with solid décor and photo frames with our pictures. What we got were a few photo prints hanging from ropes, disappointing!   On the sangeet night, several key elements were missing. Some lights were broken, and incredibly, the stage didn’t even have stairs to step onto.   And then came the wedding day. Once again, a lot of misses were there, but the most heartbreaking moment was during the varmala ceremony. We had specifically ordered pastel Varmalas, but at the moment, we were handed spoiled/rotten, upside-down red rose Varmalas. It was devastating. We even gestured in frustration to Mr. Vikas, who was standing beside the stage, but there was nothing we could do at that point.   What hurt the most was the disregard for our expectations, the complete lack of professionalism, and Mr. Suri’s inability to take responsibility or communicate with basic courtesy. We had been promised the best. What we got was careless execution and zero accountability.   We remained calm and patient throughout the entire process, but this experience truly broke our hearts. It’s not just about aesthetics, it was about our once-in-a-lifetime moment. A wedding that we dreamed of and planned for with so much love and care, only to be left feeling disrespected and cheated.   I’m no longer angry, just deeply disappointed. Writing this review is not an act of irritation, but a necessary truth for future couples. Please, think twice before trusting your precious moments to Suri Wedding Planner.

First of all my profession doesn't allowed me to talk ill-mannerly about someone and being a doctor i have not enough time to invest on such a person who's abusive & completely unprofessional.. At last I just wanted to tell you that all reviews are genuine & put down by my family members who have seen Mr. Suri's work dealing with us and we are not doing fake reviews like you're doing for your ratings by your own staff. I and My parents have gone through this insult because of your pathetic decor; We have to take our pheras and other rituals in complete dark, our photographer helped us with his lights....DESPITE GIVING YOU HUGE AMOUNTS IN ADVANCE AND OVER LACS PRICE FOR THIS KIND OF DECOR.... I THINK YOU OWE US A SINCERE APOLOGY... So just sharing our experience, So that no one would ever go through this on their D Day. So only advise for him please don't ruin someone else's wedding and take negative feedback constructively and improve yourself & take your work seriously and put some efforts to make it worth as someone's paying you their earnings....So Respect that.! But after seeing all conversations & CCTV footages, one thing I know you were & never be apologetic and ill-minded person... We reached out to Suri Wedding Planner through Wed me good for our sisters wedding in Mashobra, we are residing in Gurgaon and did not have any idea of vendors in Himachal. Little did we know it is going good to be such an amazing experience. In the beginning we were skeptical of going ahead with Suri Wedding Planner as Vikas is very young, and we didn't know about his experience. I now can say it was the best decision, Vikas is extremely professional and hardworking young guy, he took care of every small detail to make the day so much memorable. It was a day wedding and the decoration theme was white and peach, he did total justice in keeping the theme, it looked like a fairytale wedding. He and his team started the work at 2 am in the night of November, the weather was harsh, but he completed the work on time as gusts started arriving at 7 am. He offered us decorations, DJ, flowers, and other small arrangements too. I would recommend Suri Wedding Planner to everyone, who is looking for the best and affordable wedding planner. Suri wedding planners are true professionals with a lot of flexibility. They were instrumental in their support and entire planning. The decoration was immaculate. Through there are a few negative comments on social media but they are all wrong and speculating. Vikas is a wonderful person and is really humble and helpful. You tell him anything and he will do it for you with a smile on his face. I personally recommend That you hire them at least for one even and from there on I know you will hire him for all your events in Shimla.

Sucks big time . Did not follow any color theme discussed. For wedding we told them golden color and instead of gold he used all random colours. Was supposed to provide us water proofing for mandap which blew away . Told him to do centrepieces for all tables and he just did for 10 tables. Used disgusting and dirty chairs for our engagement ceremony. The jaimala flowers turned black within one hour of wearing it. Did not follow the discussed designs completely . Basically at first he agreed at the price and later on he tried to cut down on his expenses by cheating us. During the event he also threatened us to back out. If you want to ruin your wedding day , go to mr Vikas Suri , he will ruin it for sure.
