The Colourful Ocean is hands down the best wedding photographer team you can ask for! I do not have words to express how grateful I am to Malvvika and team! The portraits she delivered for my sangeet are beautiful! I am finding it difficult to shortlist "the good ones" for framing because there are so many of them. As our event was in the night in a typical hotel, I was worried that the photos might be boring. But boy! Was I wrong! The teaser video she made captured the essence of that day aptly -- full of fun and laughter. She was able to bring out the playfulness in my darling, typical introvert husband ;) she made him so comfortable that he was laughing throughout -- which is a lot to say for a person who is rather shy in front of the camera. They were among the last people to leave the functions. During our wedding, by the end of which everyone was extremely tired, the entire team waited for us to finish dinner so that they could capture a 5-minute ceremony. I really appreciated this—it was needless, but the team went above and beyond. - The team was always polite and spoke kindly with everyone. They were overly patient in capturing photos with large groups and never made any impositions on anyone for the sake of better photos. I have come across photographers who get impatient when people do not comply with their instructions for posing in a group photo. The Colorful Ocean team is a rare exception. Their politeness was appreciated and remembered by many of our guests even after the wedding. - During the wedding, the team wanted to capture interview bites with close family members. Given the chaos of the day, it was hard to find even a moment's time. The team closely kept an eye on schedules and was extremely flexible. Somehow, without being an imposition or forcing anyone to take out time, they got the interview bites by fitting themselves into the 5-10 fleeting minutes that we had available. - We and our friends had an absolute blast at our haldi function all thanks to the team. They choreographed a lot of the event and prompted our friends. We really appreciated their help in making the function so much fun. - They fully delivered on all their promises. Not only did they respect the timelines of the deliverables, but the quality of the content is phenomenal. My favorite photos are the candid ones, which truly capture the fun and excitement, and the beaming happiness on everyone’s faces. In fact, for many of the photos, including the ones where we are all on the dance floor, I cannot believe how the photographers captured the moments so beautifully and naturally because they never came in our way. Overall, we were extremely lucky to have worked with Malvika and the team. We really appreciate them and are super grateful for all the fantastic memories they captured so beautifully.
