Recently hosted a party for my parent's 32nd anniversary from The House Party by Savar and it was the most hassle-free experience we ever had from a catering. From food to service, everything was top notch. The servers made sure every guest was looked after. And the chefs nailed their job, people were licking their fingers after having the food. Would recommend the House Party to everyone for any of their events.

WARNING Save your event !! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 THP shark tank hype is beyond over. My party was on 15th November 25 for 40pax in Noida and I paid 83K expecting food as in reviews and pics but you cannot imagine the embarrassment and the poorest of the poor show they gave in terms of taste of food; presentation cutlery crockery; layout was hugely shabby I don’t have enough words for the same. Let me elaborate the berry burrata chat and avocado gauc chat was served on a stale thick mathri absolutely tasteless. Avocado unripe and bitter. Burrata smelly. Corn cakes were oily and tinniest; cost cutting in full view. Falahari Jhimikand ghilawat were so few to serve that after one round it was over. The spicy paneer and waterchestnut starter were out of the same pot. The Dal makhani fondue went missing. The conveniently omitted it. The manchurian shot had no fork so how does one eat with a spoon from the shot glass and chana bhatura shot on the platter were so few that it could not even be given to everyone. The maincourse Thai curry was missing vegetables it was just green looking milk. The sweet dish was massive let down the fruit cream shot had only cream and few strands of frozen something in the bottom. Fried date wontons were served cold & ugly. Sarson ka saag was SAD so many of my guests did not even wish to try from the look of it. Service was deliberately slow and very poor. Waiter did not even know how to serve.They used Dona’s to serve food and toothpicks. They forced to make full payment just when the event started. Please please don’t even try them. 🙏🏻 Considering the owner Mr Samar had the lineage of EMBASSY HOTEL of CP IN DELHI. who could have thought that the social media hype will cost me so dearly. Also not inspite of my raising this with The house party people they have not reverted with an apology or compensation.

I booked The House Party by SaVar for my grandmother’s birthday dinner after coming across their Instagram page and Google reviews. Their profile looked promising enough for me to finalise the booking without trying their food beforehand. We were around 15 people, and I appreciated that they were willing to cater for a small group. Before confirming, I asked about portion sizes. They explained that they operate on an à la carte system — for example, for 15 guests, they’d bring around 4 portions of dal makhani, which they claimed would easily serve 17–18 people. For starters like kebabs, they mentioned two pieces per person (around 30 pieces total), along with a few extras. This seemed fine, and since we had a fairly large menu, I assumed the overall quantity would be sufficient. I paid the advance without any issue. Later, when I asked them to share photos of their crockery, they informed me that it wasn’t included in my package. I agreed to pay extra for crockery and cutlery. However, on the day of the event, I discovered that glassware was not included either. When I asked about it, I was told glasses were “additionally priced.” I was quite taken aback — I felt this should have been communicated clearly before finalising the booking. It’s basic transparency, especially when one assumes that glasses would be part of crockery. I ultimately used my own glasses for the party. Coming to the setup and timing — I had told them that the party would start at 7 p.m., and they confirmed their team would arrive by 5 p.m. for setup. In reality, two servers arrived at 5, some of the material came at 6, and the supervisor only reached at 6:30 — half an hour before guests arrived. This last-minute scramble was very stressful. I had to keep checking in on their arrival and setup, and there was barely any time left to give instructions or check the layout. They set up a buffet-style arrangement on my dining table and even added a few decorative touches, which I appreciated. They also set up the plates and cutlery nicely, though a couple of plates were dirty and had to be washed on the spot. They worked from my terrace kitchen space, for which I had arranged tables, and I liked that they brought their own gas setup — so they didn’t need to enter or use my main kitchen. Now, about the food: Our starters included Avocado Papdi Chaat, Dahi Kebab, Beetroot Kebab, Chilli Paneer, and Sweet Corn Soup. The service was very slow. The two servers brought out one dish at a time, with long gaps between each, which made it uncomfortable for guests. The Dahi Kebab and Beetroot Kebab were okay in taste but unbelievably small — each piece was barely the size of a ₹10 coin! Definitely not what one expects at this price point. The Avocado Papdi Chaat was extremely dry — literally one piece of papdi with a tiny bit of avocado on top and no chutney or sauce. It just tasted like plain papdi. The Chilli Paneer was decent in flavour, but despite my clear request for a no onion–no garlic menu, it was served with both. It’s not about being strict or religious — but if a client specifically asks for something, it’s basic professionalism to follow it. The Sweet Corn Soup was by far the worst. The first batch tasted like clear sugar water — no sweet corn, no vegetables, no flavour. When we pointed it out, they said, “Ma’am, aapko hi kharab lag raha hai, humein toh sahi lag raha hai.” We then asked them to fix it, and they added loads of sweet corn and vinegar (which we provided from our own kitchen) into the same soup, but it was still terrible. No one could drink it. To add to this, the supervisor asked me to clear the remaining payment the moment he arrived, even before the service began. I told him I’d pay after the event, and I’m very glad I did — because if I had paid in full beforehand, I can only imagine how careless the service might have been. For the main course, we had Dal Makhani, Paneer Lababdar, Malai Kofta, Biryani, Saalan, Raita, Aloo Chaat Salad, and Green Salad. The curries were average at best — nothing special or memorable. The rotis were fine since they were prepared fresh. The raita and saalan were both watery, clearly made in bulk without care. The biryani was decent. The salads, however, were a disaster. The green salad had just one sliced onion in the entire bowl. When I asked for more, one server said, “Ma’am, yeh mera kaam nahi hai,” which was extremely unprofessional. Another person eventually brought more salad — but it was literally unpeeled cucumbers tossed onto the platter. I had also asked for lemon and onion for the salad, but they didn’t bring either. We had to cut onions and lemons ourselves. Overall, the service was chaotic and untrained, and the food quality did not match the price or the presentation promised online. The portion sizes were shockingly small, especially for starters, and the lack of professionalism really stood out — from unclear inclusions and late setup to poor coordination and dismissive responses. The only redeeming points were their effort to decorate the buffet table and the fact that they brought their own cooking setup. Beyond that, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. I really regret booking The House Party by SaVar and would not recommend them based on my experience. Their concept and presentation on Instagram look great, but the actual food, service, and communication were far below expectations. I hope they take this as constructive feedback and improve their clarity, professionalism, and food quality for future clients.

Pathetic food quality and taste , RUDE and outspoken staff , non sense done once payment is taken, i booked a party and felt as if i am cheated, the staff came very late and not even dressed properly, then they threatened us that they will leave the party without serving if you will not pay the complete amount that was quite surprising the way the did. , food quality was rubbish . I would request never get cheated with this company and forget to give them chance . They are not worth to be invested by SHARK TANK

Event: Small catering for home party about 30-35people. Shoddy pre event sales experience (should’ve been a red flag but we had already wasted time selecting the menu with them and with one week left to go for the event it was not possible to change caterer). At the event itself, appetisers were okay, main course was way below par with only 1 dish of acceptable taste (their tandoori breads were rock solid and all our guests left those uneaten in their plates). Service during the event was extremely slow.

My experience with House Party Catering Services in New Delhi was deeply unsatisfactory and highlighted severe issues in their service and approach. *Inadequate Planning and Communication*: The company's failure to communicate critical details like the event setup was the first red flag. Such poor planning created unnecessary confusion and demonstrated a lack of professional responsibility. *Staff's Negligence and Unprofessionalism*: The major issue was the staff's complete disregard for their duties. Their indifference to the guests and the event was appalling. Instead of addressing problems or serving guests, they chose to engage in personal conversations, showing a total lack of respect and professionalism. *Food Safety and Hygiene Issues*: While it's understood that mosquitoes are a common issue, the onus is on the catering team to ensure food safety. The absence of additional protective measures like food nets allowed for food contamination, reflecting a gross negligence on their part towards basic hygiene standards. *Insufficient and Poor Quality Food*: The food provided was not only inadequate for the number of guests but also of poor quality. The starters quickly ran out, and the remaining food was served cold, failing to meet even basic expectations of catering quality. *Irresponsible Handling of Feedback*: After the event, when issues were raised, our concerns were met with silence. Their response escalated to threatening behavior following an online review, where they denied receiving payments and resorted to intimidation tactics. This response is not only unethical but potentially fraudulent. In summary, House Party Catering Services displayed a blatant disregard for catering standards, from basic preparation to food safety, compounded by their staff's unprofessionalism and their management's unethical post-event behavior. I strongly advise against using their services.
