Our experience at the Peacock India store on May 1, 2025, at 8:15 PM was not only disappointing but also outright frustrating. We visited the store to return a lehenga, as instructed by the store, within a specified deadline. However, what we encountered was a display of unprofessionalism, lack of flexibility, and a complete disregard for customer convenience. We had been given a deadline of 8:15 PM to return the lehenga. Unfortunately, we got stuck in traffic—something that is entirely beyond anyone’s control. We called ahead to inform the store of the delay, assuming that basic understanding and courtesy would be extended. However, the store manager, Nischay Kandari, insisted that he would wait no longer than 15 minutes beyond the deadline and even threatened to charge extra if we failed to meet his strict timing. What kind of system is this? At no point were we informed of these arbitrary conditions beforehand, and there was no written policy or notice outlining such terms. This lack of transparency is both unethical and unreasonable. It is outrageous for a store to impose such rigid deadlines without considering unforeseen circumstances, let alone threaten additional charges for something as trivial as a minor delay. To make matters worse, the manager’s attitude was dismissive and rude. He showed no understanding of our situation and was unwilling to engage in a constructive dialogue. His tone was condescending, and his behavior gave the impression that customers are seen as an inconvenience rather than a priority. Later, we discovered that the so-called “manager” is actually Nischay Kandari, likely the owner of the brand. When questioned, he outright denied his role as the owner, blatantly trying to hide his identity and avoid responsibility. This level of dishonesty from someone in a leadership position is deeply concerning and reflects poorly on the brand as a whole. This incident highlights a deeper issue with the store’s operations and customer service. Not only are their policies unclear and unreasonable, but the behavior of the staff—especially the owner pretending to be a manager—demonstrates a complete lack of respect for customers. After reading other reviews, it’s clear this is not an isolated incident. Many customers have reported similar experiences, and it’s apparent that this store’s leadership and service standards are failing miserably. At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if this store shuts down within a year. Peacock India needs to take immediate action to address these issues. Transparent policies, respectful communication, and a customer-first approach are non-negotiable for any successful business. Until these fundamental changes are made, I cannot recommend this store to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and shop somewhere that values its customers.

It was a good experience going this place they help you in jewellers also. Staff is also very calm. They gave the best fitting and cleaning. Thank you fir good lehenga. I will visit again.

The best store in the town to rent your outfit and save well for your future must visit me being a regular customer can recommend you to try and then you'll surely never buy your own dresses easy to rent and have multiple options available

The experience was very good staff behaviour was good and helpful even the prices were genuine, the product was properly drycleaned and fitted , I got lots of compliments from friends & family, it was really amazing experience I will surely visit again
