Royal Reception is a very good event planner. Specially the food. In one word just "AWESOME". The test of the food is so delicious. From welcome drinks to dessert, each and every item will give a extra ordinary satisfaction of test. The service boys and girls are well dressed and well behaved. The management is all time at your service during the event.

Biggest Fraudulent and Dupe company. All of the reviews are fake. Sushanta is such a liar and cheat; He makes all fake promises. The entire team is running a scandal. Served cold food, insulted guests and did not provide complete service. Please don't use their service. It will ruin your precious moments.

The most fraud company I've ever seen. Their management was so so so poor. Please don't contact them by seeing reviews. All reviews are fake. Their own employees wrote down their reviews to create a fake positive response. They are super fake. The owner Sridip, Dipankar and Sushanta are the main fraudsters. Please don't go there.

I had attended a cousin's wedding recently, organized by The Royal Reception. From decor to catering, taking care of guests to responding to any request immediately, The Royal Reception has really impressed me. The cherry on the top has to be the quality and richness of the food menu. I can attest with my eyes closed, this was one of the most delicious food I have ever had. The food is definitely the acid test for any wedding organizer, one which Royal Reception passed with flying colours. Whats even better is that all this is done keeping in mind the budget as required by the customer. The packages are truly the best rates in the market, to sum up quality within budget. Royal reception was caterers for my nephew's marriage reception on 30th April 2022. Below points faced and brought forward so that others become aware of their service - # Service of this caterers was the worst of all their job activities . Untrained staff , dirty dresses and unresponsive and aweful behaviour of the staff working at the venue.Supervisors and floor manager was clueless. # there was around 300 odd guests and I was surprised to watch and find that they were conserving/ saving food for themselves instead of serving to the guests. # arrangement of seating and serving was done in the 1st floor as an option but the feedback that we got from our guests was that caterers service guys wasn't even serving food properly even when the guests called them to serve. # food packets for drivers and guests were accounted separately with the caterers but to our surprise it came to our knowledge that all variety of food wasn't even packed . It was so depressing for us what Royal Sevice caterers did. Horrible service, but they took full money in advance even before the event started . I would like to emphasis to other prospective customers to be aware of the above points before finalising any future catering contract with them.

First they were very aggressive in taking advance while constantly following up with us even before providing sample of food. It was my mistake that I trusted them and provided them a hefty advance of 65000/-. After checking their food quality when we decided not to go ahead with them they became aggressive and did not provide any service, and obviously like any thorough unprofessional and scamster did not provide us with the money. Please do not opt for their service. Ranjan Saha and Dipankar Ghosal are the people who are not only blatant liars but One can say they are thieves of the cheapest quality. Issues: scamstercheap people, low quality food service,unprofessional.

Worst 3rd class company, total fraud, my wedding reception was on 23st february 2021. Till now this company denying to submit wedding photo. Album, videos.donot fall prey of this vogus company

I had taken Royal Reception's service for my son's Reception. They are very punctual in terms of their service. I had booked the program for 700 guests but due to pandemic it was reduced to 180. They had created a zoom id for the guests who didn't attend the program to visualize the event also they delivered the food to them in time. When i spoke with the royal reception's support team (over a year before my wedding date), they were extremely professional and helped tailor the correct budget for the event planning. Even during difficult moments and times of incredible pressure during the wedding itself, the entire team was able to overcome any obstacle that came their way and make sure that our wedding was the best day of our lives and everything we imagined it to be. Having drinks and lunch ,as well as dinner all are worked very well – aided by very good catering. My wedding is planned on 10 dec 2020. So one of my would be husband's collegue who is an employee of The Royal Reception suggested us to meet them. So we met them. They are nothing but a bunch of frauds. 1st they will explain your wedding arrangements as if your dream is coming true in such a small amount. But the Fraud game starts when you make a advance payment. I made a deal of total Rs. 125000 for my wedding for 70 people. Which would include decoration, catering and lighting. First they explained me that I have to pay 30000 Rs as advance and rest of the payment should be done after event. I asked them to share the contract before making advance payment. Then they told me that they will share the contract only once I pay the advance amount. We are very prestigious company there will not be any such hidden terms and condition. So I trusted them and made the payment. After 2 days they shared the contract with me and the real game begins there. They are telling that 50% of the payment I have to do 1 month before wedding day and on wedding day morning I have to pay the rest of the amount. This condition was never ever mentioned to me before. To which I said I want to cancel this .Please refund my money as I have not signed any agreement with you yet. To which they said they don't have any refund policy. To which I said I have not signed any agreement yet. Then we went to there office , There they again talked to me very rudely. I said I will go to consumer forum to which They said " Do whatever you want . We will not pay you back." Also they started threatening me that I have to see the consequences If I don't lower my voice. They are bunch of cheats. They are group of Vultures who are just behind your money. They are into threatening and blacking if one voice out their opinions. I am being threat of my photographs not being processed until my reviews are taken down. Worst Experience anyone will ever have!! Most of the reviews are made up as actual ones will mess up there business. Unprofessional,uncooperative, mannerless one can name all the negative adjective for them. Vendors hired are incompetent starting from photographers, makeup artists, etc. Had to pay extra for decorations to the vendors at the last most as they proived us with cheap decorations. Once the advance is done they show their true colours. Ranjan from the sales team is a filth does not know customer service, have all the recordings of this filthy behaviour!! My wedding was on 14.02.2020 till date I have not received the pictures, the photographer Apurba was unpunctual missed many shots as well!! The makeup artist did not have half of the stuffs, ruined my reception look! Never hire Royal Reception it will be a nightmare for you! Don't know after this review what will happen with my pictures....

Royal reception is now into blackmailing and threating clients of not delivering the deeds in the leagal contract. Wedding was on 14.08.2020 they have worst behaviour did not cooperate or delivered promised service for which extra money was provided on top on the signed contract amount. As we have shared review on online platforms this guy named "Shushanto"threatends and blackmail that till reviews are taken off they will keep the photos stoped from being processeed. As a consumer I have the legal right to post a review and threatening or blackmailing for this is legally offensive and it comes understand section503 in the Indian penal code. It will be reported to consumer form as well.

Very bad experience on my daughter reception and marriage of 14feb2020 Arora samaj bhavan. The manager Ranjan, director Dipankar and sells manager susanto both are no mannerand unprofessional.They only know cash and nothing eles,Very very bad behaviour in collecting money and not a single extra service promised.My humble request not opt for their services.

The most beautiful venue with professional staff and a very well thought out planning process. The planning and organising process at the venue is made easier by the help of a wedding coordinator and this took a lot of stress out of planning. is is regarding the wedding event that you organised on the 11th of December. We would like have you explain on the below Dining hall wasn't booked in Naman's inn - As verbally discussed, the dining hall should have been booked for 11th and 12th Dec where guests from groom's side were supposed to have their lunch, and snacks. However, in spite of taking the payment , to our surprise the dining hall wasn't booked and guests had to have their meals on window seals. No cutleries were provided - No cutleries were provided to any one of the guests on 11th and 12th. Plates weren't provided to groom's guests residing in Naman's inn. How did you plan the guests would have their lunch Lunch and breakfast were inadequate - The quantity of lunch and breakfast provided were extremely inadequate for the guests in Naman's inn. There wasn't anyone to serve the lunch and your caterer just left in haste after dumping the food in Naman's inn. Decoration - As verbally agreed, real flowers were not provided for decoration. However you charged us for the same. The decoration was in a dismal condition. A banner having the bride weds groom was also not put up. Decorators did not ask us or felt the need to take our suggestion. As a result the seating of the bride was next to the dias, and the bride and the groom had the shubhodrishti before the actual ceremony. This is against the Bengali ritual and has extremely hurt our religious sentiments. No bouncer or security was provided - As per the agreement you were supposed to provide security for the entire event which seemed to absent the whole time No welcome or service girls - As per the agreement you were supposed to provide service who also seemed to be absent the whole time of the event. Contrary to the agreement, paneer tikka was not served to guests nad vegetarian guests did not have any starters. No one was available to oversee the whole event!!!

I planned for wedding on 27th April, 2018 and searched for a best event management company in Kolkata. I got the reference of brand The Royal reception from one of my colleague who has personally gone through their management and hospitality. Finally I booked their Royal Package and 1st day, when I personally went to their Gariahat Branch for booking, then and there, service team started searching venues as my wedding date was not far and I have been provided excellent 3 venues for choice. I was just overwhelmed their response @ booking day. I got their entire services under Royal Package. One Service Manager has accompanied from the day I booked to the last day of event. I booked their Pre and Post wedding service too. One more thing I missed i.e. Awesome Catering Service and Food taste. My uncle has observed their whole works very closely, he has also given me positive feedback on the materials they used for catering. I had my wedding reception on 22nd April 2017 at Amar Bangla, Kolkata for about 100 people. This was one of the worst experiences that I had about wedding planning. I will give specific details about what all went wrong, but here are my general observations first. General observations: They charge you a lot for the services (which is perhaps ok if we get the value for money), but even after taking the charge, they try to give you the minimum possible services at the cheapest possible price that is included in the agreement. A margin of 20% might be ok for such wedding planners, however they sometimes get margins of > 100% on certain services and this shows in the service received. Specific observations are below. I had contacted them to arrange my reception, and they had to take care of my decorators, marriage hall, catering, photographer, wedding card printing, car on the day of service and beauty parlour for bride. Here is how each of them went. Catering: This was the triggering point why I wrote this review. When signing the contract, they were quoting a price for 100-120 people. I told them that I will have only 70-80 people, but they did not reduce the price since the fixed cost for food charges are going to be the same, like hiring cooks etc. This seemed reasonable to me. Now it turned out that there were 105 guests in the reception, and they said that they will charge me 800 Rs per plate extra for an extra 20k. This was bullshit, they do not reduce the prices saying that the cost for them is the same, but they want to increase the prices randomly. Also, 800Rs was not mentioned in contract anywhere. Moreover, they were unprofessional, since they called me out of the stage during reception 3-4 times, making me sign sheet saying I have to pay extra. This is not cool, as they were threatening to stop food service if I did not sign, and so I had no option but to sign the sheet. Also, it looks bad f the groom is called out of stage so many times while the guests are still arriving. Photographer: This has to be the lowlight of the reception. The photographer seemed to be not interested at all in his work. The reception was to start at 7, and he was not ready by that time. He was arranging his lightings after we were on the stage. At one point, he went away for 15 minutes while the guests were on the stage with no backup photographer, and this lead to awkward moments when guests were waiting for photographer for 5 minutes and eventually went away. He also randomly went away to take photographs of the guests while we were on the stage, and the guests were coming, and we had to send someone urgently to ask him to come back. The photography lights went off in the middle of the even for 15 minutes. While the guest frequency was low, he came on the stage and sat beside us, busy in whatsapping or playing games on his mobile, and we had to ask him to go down and take photos no less than 10 times during the reception. He seemed to be unprofessional and extremely low paid. I honestly do not even feel like taking the album from them right now actually. DO NOT TRUST THEIR PHOTOGRAPHER, they just got the cheapest one possible. This is a common thread for Royal reception, they want to give the cheapest service and not the best for the given price. They want to inflate their margins to as high as possible, so you dont get the value for money. Beauty Parlour: While talking to them, they said that they are going to spend 12000 on the makeup for bride. I found out that the beauty parlour lady was given 5000 by them. (Their margin is about 140% here.) Also, when I asked them about the charges per extra lady (apart from the bride), they quoted 2000Rs, however the beauty parlour lady just asked for 400 when she came here. This was sheer overcharging. I had my wedding in Bhopal, and in 12k there, we had a much better experience with 4 people attending to the bride in a parlour. Car for the reception day: No issues with the driver here. However they charged me 700 extra, and I don?t know why. I had not exceeded the time or the km range. Hall: They were supposed to show me some halls around for me to choose. Personally for me, money was not an issue at all for the hall, but the number of guests were low so I wanted a smaller place (not a garden) so that it looks filled up with people. A guy called Dipankar showed me the hall that day as apparently the main guy was not present. Dipankar was not at all interested to show me the halls, and he was calling people at Royal Reception telling them that this is not my job and I should not be made to do this. Also, he was extremely unprofessional, and anyone who wants to choose a wedding venue of their choice should just ignore him. I will talk about a specific incident. He was showing me halls which they had contract with, and I did not like them as they were very cheap. There was one particular hotel which I liked, and I asked Dipankar to take me to the hotel as I wanted to see it. I went inside and talked to them (in English) about the prices, decoration charges, etc. That particular hotel did not allow outside decorators. Now as Royal reception gets money from decorators, Dipankar got pissed off and called someone from Royal Reception telling them that this guy (me) is taking things in his own hands and we cannot have this continue. Please tell him to follow what hotels we are going to show him. (He thought that I was outside his hearing range, but I could listen to him) Dipankar then came to me and told me not to do this, since other hotels are not good and they do not have contracts with them, so I cannot do this. This made me feel as if they were not assisting me in the reception planning, but rather they wanted me to follow whatever hotel they chose. Also, I had 4 halls that I wanted to see. Nilmahal, Amar Bangla and one other was among them. He showed me one out of them (Nilmahal) and told me that the others were worse than that. I later on found out that Amar Bangla was actually better than Nilmahal, and they just showed me Nilmahal since they had some contract / understanding with them. I eventually chose Amar Bangla for the venue (cost: 40k for one floor with AC, can take about 80-100 people.) This again made me feel that they did not have my best interest in mind. Decoration: They told me that the decoration was about 15k. Amar Bangla charges about 35k for decoration with original flowers (which I had talked about with them before) so I went with Royal Reception since it was cheaper. They again called me bout 10 days before and told me that they would charge me 15k extra, which was still fine as it was cheaper than Amar Bangla charges. I later found out that Amar Bangla charges 35k for decoration with original flowers, and when I told them that I want decoration with original flowers, they quoted me a price of 70k. I negotiated and they "brought down" the price to 50-55k. However I found out that they were anyways outsourcing the decoration to Amar Bangla for 35k and were just quoting me 70k for getting their own profits with a margin on 100% (35k). I told them that I do not want decoration from them as I can get decoration from Amar Bangla directly for cheap price. They were extremely against this and were telling me not to talk to them directly, and that I should always go through them. They also said that since I signed the contract, I cannot contact anyone else. This was bullshit since they told me before that if I take decoration on my own, they would just reduce the price by 15k. They eventually also charged me 3k extra for decoration even though I was the one who talked with the guys and everything, claiming that they also need some profits. I felt this was a rip off, since I do not see any reason to pay them anything if I am the one making all the arrangements.
