The Shaadi Stories is a storytelling-driven wedding photography and filmmaking brand based in Chennai, known for creating deeply personal, authentic, and emotion-led wedding narratives. With experience of capturing 500+ weddings, the team believes that no two weddings are the same, and therefore, no two wedding stories should ever look alike. Their work focuses on real moments, honest emotions, and meaningful details, all woven together into powerful visual stories.
Founded by an engineering graduate with a lifelong passion for photography, The Shaadi Stories was born out of both creative instinct and strong industry experience. After working with one of South India’s leading photography brands and serving as a lead photographer between 2015 and 2018, the founder understood what couples truly need from their wedding storytellers. Along with two equally passionate friends, he started The Shaadi Stories to build a brand that listens, understands, and delivers with intention.
Backed by a close-knit team of 25+ photographers, filmmakers, editors, designers, and creative collaborators, The Shaadi Stories is admired for being calm under pressure and precise in execution. The team makes couples feel comfortable in front of the camera, allowing them to capture emotions in their most natural and honest form.

Working Style
The Shaadi Stories does not believe in templates or fixed formats. Every wedding film and album is designed around the couple’s unique journey and story. To make album selection easier for clients, the brand has introduced Premagic, an in-house encrypted photo selection software that works like a mobile gallery, allowing multiple users to select images simultaneously. This ensures faster turnaround time and smooth delivery of albums, often within a month.
The brand has also introduced unique storytelling formats such as:
- Kalyana Cassette: An episodic wedding film format capturing the wedding across multiple episodes.
- Shaadi Specials: Cinematic pre-wedding storytelling projects crafted like short films in collaboration with professional cinema directors.
Travels to the Venue
The team is open to traveling across India and internationally. They have covered weddings in cities across India and abroad, including destinations like the USA and Singapore. Outstation travel and stay charges are to be borne by the client.

Just looking at the pictures, Beautiful photos!!!! The best decision we did was to book Shaadi stories. Photos are soooo damn dreamy, feels like it's from a movie. Few Instagram grids will not do justice to these beautiful pictures

I'm not the most photogenic and too awkward to pose but prabhu and his team made me feel really comfortable in the entire shoot. I give a straight 10 out of 10.

All of the photographers really just make you feel comfortable and yourself, which is what you need on your wedding day! The Shaadi Stories definitely know how to capture all the emotions, vibrancy, and organized madness at weddings. Me and my wife highly recommend it.
