For the invitations themselves, I worked very closely with two incredibly talented, up-and-coming graphic designers called The Sibling Script. We brainstormed everything together—from the concept to the final look. Each invite featured a hand-sketched graphic of the venue or space where the celebration was taking place, and honestly, they turned out stunning. My mom and I were completely involved in the process as well—we went together to source the handmade paper the invites were printed on, chose the ribbons, wax seals, and all the little details. We then sat in our living room assembling every single invite by hand. We made about 100 invites for the wedding and around 400 for the formal reception in Mumbai. And we didn’t stop there. All the wedding favours and hampers, welcome notes, itineraries, and even the placemats for our sit-down wedding dinner were designed by us. By the end of it, we were joking about starting another business together. My mom actually even went ahead and made the rattles for the wedding Pheras in house! Source
