Worst experience- My Bridal Makeup Experience – Sharing Honestly I never thought I would have to write something like this, especially about my wedding day. But I feel it’s important to share my experience so other brides can be careful. My wedding was on 26th October 2026, and my muhurtham was at 10:30 AM. I had clearly informed the makeup team that I needed to leave for the temple after getting ready and that everything had to be completed by 6:30 AM. I found them on Instagram after seeing their work, which looked really good. They asked to start at 3:30 AM. The hair stylist, saree drapist, and makeup artists (Sija Rajan and Reshma) all came separately, and it felt like they were freelancers working individually because the hair styling team and the saree drapiest didn’t know each other when I had the conversation initially. Hair and saree draping started first. Around 4–4:30 AM, the makeup artists arrived and finished the makeup within an hour. By 6:30 AM, everything was done and it looked beautiful. They left around 6:45 AM. But around 7:15 AM, after I got a little emotional and cried for few seconds, my makeup started smudging badly. There were black lines on my face, and the base had completely spread. I honestly looked really bad with dark patches on my face. They had provided a small touch-up kit, and my sister immediately tried to fix it using that, but it didn’t make any difference. As a bride, that moment was heartbreaking. I immediately went to the team members who were still there, but they didn’t have any proper products for correction. They asked if I had foundation or concealer. My sister had to run and get some, but even that didn’t really help. When we called Sija around 8:00 AM, the first response was that they had already reached halfway home and couldn’t come back. At that point, I hadn’t even gone to the venue yet, and my makeup was already ruined. After several calls, around 9:15 AM, they said they would send someone who was nearby. That person came who was initially the saree drapist, wiped the makeup from my cheeks and chin, and redid it partially with the products she had. Yes, the initial look was nice. But it lasted hardly 30 minutes. As a bride, you trust your makeup artist completely on your big day. You expect the makeup to be long-lasting and waterproof, and you expect support if something goes wrong. Instead, I was told, “Usually brides don’t cry so the makeup stays.” They also mentioned that we did not ask them to stay. But honestly, I had idea about how their makeup would last - they are the ones who knows it better. If they knew touch-ups might be needed, it was their responsibility to guide me or stay a little longer to handle such situations. I had also paid an additional ₹10,000 (₹5,000 × 2) for extra saree draping. In my understanding, I had booked the Touch by Sire team — Sija and Reshma — so I expected them to be there for the saree additional saree draping. If they were planning to leave and have freelancers handle everything, that should have been clearly communicated in advance. The total package cost was ₹61,500. After everything that happened, they reduced ₹10,000, and I paid ₹51,500. But honestly, no discount can take away the stress and disappointment I felt that morning. This experience affected my confidence and my mood throughout the function. I am sharing this not to attack anyone, but to let other brides know my genuine experience. Please make sure you choose a team that uses long-lasting, waterproof products and stands by you fully on your big day.

Worst experience ever. They did not do the look as promised and cheated us saying they will give us a discount, but ultimately didn't and then proceeded to call and speak in the worst manner possible. Both Sija and Reshma are extremely money minded and handoff work to others instead of doing it themselves. They also overcharge severely without doing any make-up prep. Would never recommend to anyone.

My wife had the most horrible experience with touchbysire for our engagement. Way too expensive for what was a poorly executed makeover. They offered a trial makeup after paying the advance amount, which was rushed and not very satisfactory. But the makeup look they did for the actual function was drastically different from what she had asked for in the trial. She wanted a subtle natural looked, but they ended up doing a heavy glossy look, which was entirely different from the look done during the trial. And put on a lip colour that did not go at all with her skin colour. Plus they took too long for the makeup, so there was not much time to do any final changes. In addition, they had said they would provide the appropiate hair extension, but ended up bringing only 2, neither of which were matching for her look. And they charged an exorbitant fee like celeb make up artists, even after such pathetic work. Definitely would not recommend them for anyone.

SireMUA did beautiful naturally finished makeup and managed to make every look unique! I knew what I wanted for each ook and they did an amazing job in creating the perfect hair and makeup for every look. Their saree drapist was also stellar. Super pleased with their small but mighty team.Source
