Our wedding was scheduled for 5:00 am, and as anyone who has ever been married knows, the hours leading up to the ceremony are intense. But nothing could have prepared us for what unfolded that night—and the way Aneesha handled it still leaves us awestruck. At 2:00 am, long before the first raindrop fell, Aneesha had the foresight to arrange a red carpet pathway on the beach so that our guests wouldn’t have to walk on sand. It was a thoughtful, elegant touch—and as it turned out, a truly brilliant one. At 3:30 am, the skies opened up and it started raining heavily. Most people would have panicked. Many would have given up or simply done the bare minimum to salvage the situation. But Aneesha is not most people. Within minutes, she sprang into action with total presence of mind. She shifted the entire mandap set-up to the beach, coordinating with her team to recreate the entire atmosphere, layout, and décor from scratch—all while ensuring it still felt intentional, intimate, and magical. Not a single guest would have known that this wasn’t the original plan. It was executed so seamlessly that it felt as though it had always been meant to be that way. And the best part? We didn’t even have to ask. We didn’t stress. We didn’t run around making last-minute decisions.
