White Pearl Weddings

White Pearl Wedding let us down on big time . I don’t generally give bad reviews but with White pearl , from the start Communication was patchy—they barely answered efficiently on calls or emails, leaving us wondering till the last minute . The photography- Utterly mediocre, with shoddy editing that wasn’t worth the price , and they charged a fortune for delivery that dragged on forever. On the big day, everything was not at all what we aligned on: vendors late, timeline wrecked , we ended up paying with a third-party for photo album Bad customer service 👎🏻

Please don't go for Talha for your wedding planning if you'd want a memorable one. His group is extremely poor in planning and starting from Day 1 since the time we gave our budget and suggestions they were okay with everything and wouldn't give you the cost break up until the end when they will quote you 3x your budget, and with wedding itself in a couple of days it gets extremely hard for you to negotiate. They then quote additional cost for furniture and decor pieces which you would not even be aware of on the first place, now you don't have a choice with wedding just round the corner. They are extremely unprofessional and are very armature at what they are doing by not even giving the right costs. We had 4 events organized for the wedding and literally they ruined the second day - "muhurtham" (wedding moment) as it was NOT AT ALL the decor we wanted, we wanted a traditional South Indian style set up and literally it was a stage with 4 wooden sticks to support and nothing else and you end up paying a bomb for this. Infact there was not even flowers kept on the side to shower on the bride and groom after the wedding and my uncles had to hunt for whatever small amount of flowers they could find. It was a terrible blunder as we had planned for lot of pictures with flowers being thrown at us capturing THE moment. Then comes the Cocktail which was supposed to start at 5PM when they started to put up the decorations and was ready at 7.30PM. Another blunder. The worst part was the photo album and videos. They said the wedding is now done and you got to now pay in full and we ended up paying the full amount like fools, and they gave us RAW PHOTOS "not even edited for the background/ color corrected" and 1 min teaser for all 4 events which took NONE of our suggestions, and said we need to pay extra if we wanted to longer wedding video since that was not included in package (which was not true as we paid for the videos as well), anyway we ended up paying and the guy who was assigned to us by Talha for making the video - Hari, was extremely irresponsive and everytime we asked him for videos he would say he met with an accident. We sent bunch of songs we wanted in the videos which was not taken into consideration and all this after 10 months of the wedding in Dec'24 where we still don't have a wedding album (which is another story) nor the videos. We had to fight back and get whatever tiny amount of refund they would give take it and leave and this was for videos. Now for the album, after 11 months of the wedding and continuous follow ups Talha says the wedding album folks are renovating their business and hence will be unable to make the album for us which is BULLSHIT as your running a business with no alternatives? They refunded us JUST 12K after continuous follow ups and running around for like 4 months straight, and imagine having 450 photos (We had 4 events) and just paying back 12K , we had to again spend 25K to get the album in shape. PLEASE don't go for Talha , his in house photography group and anything associated with them as you will end up spending a bomb for an event, they will cause so much stress when this is something you will want to cherish for a lifetime.

Thalha and his team were exceptional in planning and coordinating the wedding of our daughter. Thalha is very knowledgeable particularly with the decorations and is calm and composed under pressure. He communicated regularly with us being thousands of miles away and was always very timely with his responses. Very reachable and responsive! With him on our side, we always felt that any challenge could be tackled. White Pearl made the entire process very easy for us and took a load off our shoulders. If I have to recommend a couple of suggestions to get better, it would be in management and oversight of lunches/dinners and with video photography where instead of live event, constant background music was delivered while streaming. But overall, we would highly recommend White Pearl and Thalha in particular. -Kumaran
