Makeup by Somya

Somya did a fantastic job on my cocktail and wedding night. The make up was great and exactly how I wanted it, she took great care in handling my sensitive skin and I would 100% recommend her :)

Having Somya do my makeup was the best decision I made. I am not very familiar with make up and given my acne prone skin with scars, I needed somebody to conceal those without making me look artificial. She gave me the most natural and subtle look. Her work ethic is commendable and she tries to accommodate each and every demand/request of yours. She tried to give me different looks for all of my 4 functions, which reflects the effort and thought she puts into her work. Plus, given her affable pleasant nature, she’s an absolute pleasure to have around when one is all worked up before their big events Highly recommended!

Having Somya as my makeup artist was the best decision I made for my wedding. Before each event, in that dressing room - Somya brought the calm energy I didn’t even know I needed. I don't usually get my makeup done, but loved working with Somya for my sister's wedding! She handled my neurosis with grace, didn't push me to cake product on, and gave me tons of fun tips while doing my makeup. She also has an excellent network of hairstylists and drapers - and I loved seeing how easily they worked together. 1000% scheduling time with Som again whenever I need to look cute!

I haven’t had a great experience previously with MUA so naturally I was a bit paranoid when it came to choosing my wedding MUA. When I spoke to Somya for the first time, she was really patient and polite with all the queries/concerns I had - which goes a long way for me generally. She patiently understood my requirements and my shortcomings when it came to makeup and made me loook absolutely stunning on the wedding day - I don’t think I have been ever so confident (when my makeup has been done by a MUA previously) but she made me look amazing on the day! Highly highly recommend her for her work and for the person that she is! Thankyou thankyou Somya so much! ♥️
