Of all the decisions I made for my wedding, choosing Rupali as my makeup artist is my biggest regret. Even now, I can’t bring myself to look at my wedding photos without feeling disappointed. I’ve always been confident in my looks and receive compliments wherever I go, but on the most important day of my life, I didn’t feel like myself at all. One of the biggest letdowns was my hair. I wanted to use extensions for added volume and length, but as someone with no prior knowledge about hair and makeup, I trusted her to choose the right ones. Unfortunately, she used extensions that looked old and lifeless, completely ruining the overall look. Instead of the fresh, voluminous hair I had envisioned, I ended up with something dull and unnatural. But the biggest disaster was the makeup. It didn’t enhance my natural beauty; instead, it made me look tired and washed out. To make matters worse, it didn’t even last! Within hours, the foundation had started creasing, the eye makeup smudged, and my entire face looked patchy and uneven. A bride should feel her most beautiful on her wedding day, but instead, I felt uncomfortable and self-conscious. Looking back, I wish I had chosen someone who truly understood how to make a bride look and feel her best. If you’re searching for a makeup artist, I strongly advise against hiring her. Don’t waste your money, and more importantly, don’t risk ruining the way you look and feel on the most special day of your life.
