I had my wedding here on 16th November 2025, 200+ guests in my wedding got food poisoning. Some of them were so severe that they had to be taken to the hospital. Most people suffered symptoms like diarrhea, vomiting, fever and chills. Also, their attitude after we brought light to the events was extremely unsavory and rude. They are currently under the lens of law for this and I recommend you do not engage their services for something as auspicious and special as your wedding

*I. Severe Health & Safety Violations and Catering Failure (Food Poisoning)* on 16th November at Coco resort and banquets • Mass Food Contamination and Guest Illness: The catering provided resulted in widespread contamination, causing food poisoning in more than 200 guests. • Health Impact: The symptoms included severe diarrhea, stomach pain, enteritis, vomiting, fever, chills, nausea, and general weakness. • Hospitalization: Two guests required immediate hospitalization due to the severity of their illness • Impact on Couple: Both the bride and groom, along with all attending guests, suffered severe physical discomfort and health complications, which severely disrupted and marred the entire wedding celebration. *II. Event Management and Service Failures* • Inadequate and Embarrassing Cake Cutting Provision (November 15th - Sangeet): During the Sangeet function on November 15th, both the caterers and Coco Resort management failed to provide a suitable knife • The function was significantly halted and delayed after multiple requests, necessitating the cake being sent back. • The eventual replacement was a flimsy and inapproriate knife. • Lack of Assigned Event Point of Contact: Despite the magnitude of the event, no single, dedicated point of contact was assigned by Coco Resort management for our functions on November 15th and 16th. This organizational failure resulted in constant delays in function proceedings and widespread inconvenience to all staying members and guests. • Failure to Control Access and Secure Catering (November 15th): Individuals from an adjacent event were permitted to access and consume food meant for our wedding party on November 15th. • The absence of a Coco Resort representative at the food counter resulted in the loss of multiple food plates. • This issue was only rectified when the bride personally intervened, causing embarrassment for both her and the uninvited guests. *III. Contractual Breaches and Misrepresentation (Accommodation)* • Failure to Deliver Promised Dormitory Accommodation (Contract Breach): Six months in advance, an advance payment was made for dormitory accommodation to house guests. • Coco Resort failed to deliver the promised dormitories, belatedly informing the client of the delay (attributed to alleged land issues) only upon a personal venue visit. • This necessitated last-minute, costly re-bookings at external hotels, causing massive financial and logistical inconvenience to the bride and groom • The manager failed to disclose the critical information that the construction had been halted indefinitely due to land dispute issues. This fact was only discovered by the bride and groom upon personal site inspection, causing unnecessary panic and disruption to accommodation planning. • Inappropriate and Aggressive Guest Checkout Procedure: Despite the promised check-in time of 11:00 AM being delayed until 2:00 PM on arrival, the resort receptionist aggressively banged on guest doors demanding check-out precisely at 11:00 AM. This rude and uncompromising action was highly unprofessional and caused distress to the guests. *IV. Venue Maintenance and Guest Experience Deficiencies* • Gross Plumbing and Water Quality Issues: Guests were subjected to unsanitary conditions due to non-functional water taps and a broken water filter. This caused brown, muddy, and unfiltered water to be dispensed in basin and toilet facilities • Substandard Ventilation and Sanitation: The washrooms suffered from extremely poor ventilation, leading to persistent foul odors that permeated the entire rooms. The rooms themselves were noted to have zero adequate ventilation or functional windows. • Obstruction and Inconvenience (Stairs Removal): One set of stairs was deliberately removed, causing unnecessary inconvenience and restriction of movement for guests. Management failed to take responsibility, with different departments (banquet and décor) deflecting accountability. • Staff Rudeness and Denial of Service: Staff members exhibited rude and unprofessional behavior towards guest.

Excellent place near Pune city for marriage functions. Easy to reach from Mumbai as well which makes it a very good option to have a lavish wedding.
