I had my wedding here in the last week of January 2026. This is an honest review from my family and me. The Hosts: The heart of Devprayag isn’t just the space. It’s the people behind it. From the very beginning of our wedding planning journey, the owners were deeply involved and genuinely invested in making our wedding special. Aarti, the owner, was nothing short of a blessing for both our families. Over the four months of planning, she was endlessly patient, kind, and reassuring, no matter how many questions or requests we had. What truly touched us was how personally she showed up for us. She went out of her way to help wherever she could, even bringing pooja articles from her own home when we needed them. That level of care is rare and cannot be overstated. We never felt like “clients”. We felt supported, understood, and looked after. We are deeply grateful to Aarti, her family, and her team and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking for hosts who genuinely care. The Venue: Devprayag is a beautiful outdoor venue that feels calm, soulful, and thoughtfully designed. It perfectly balances natural beauty with practicality, making it especially well-suited for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The space can comfortably accommodate over 350 guests while still feeling open and intimate. The venue has a large main lawn with a grand stage, along with a lovely amphitheatre shaded by a majestic tree. The main lawn comfortably holds around 150–200 people and is where we hosted both our wedding ceremony and reception. The amphitheatre, though smaller, has a cosy and intimate charm. We used it for a sangeet-style celebration with close family and friends, and it turned out to be one of the most joyful and memorable parts of our wedding. One of the biggest advantages of Devprayag is that it doesn’t need heavy decor. The venue is naturally beautiful and feels complete as it is. It looks stunning both during the day and at night, each offering a very different but equally magical atmosphere. For traditional Hindu ceremonies, we would especially recommend a daytime event. The natural sunlight brings the entire space to life, adding a quiet, traditional beauty that is hard to put into words. Beyond the main event spaces, the venue is filled with multiple nooks and thoughtfully designed corners that naturally double up as photo-worthy spots and were a big highlight for our guests. One such standout is the small kalyani, which became one of the most photogenic spots of our entire wedding. We used this space for our haldi ceremony, and it later organically became a favourite area for guests to take photos.
