Downtown Resort

Held our 2 day wedding event at Aravali Resorts, now known as Downtown Resort in February. We had an amazing experience hosting our event. All our arrangements, from placement of food stations, counters, food menu was taken up by their team in a very planned way. Chef Badoni Susheeldatt catered to all our special requests with the food and the associated arrangements. Everyone who attended the event were in praise of the food prepared. Not once did we feel that it was "the oily spicy shaadi vaala khaana". It was very kind of the chef to suggest us various food options while ensuring that non of the items in the menu were repetitive or tasted similar. My favourites from both the days were(I am a biased non vegetarian :p) Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, Fish Tikka, Veg Salt and Pepper, Malai Chaap. The Chhole Bathure served during breakfast time were mouth watering. Talking about the resort, it is a beautiful property comprising of 45 rooms( more are being constructed might get around 80). The resort offers a very cosy feeling, surrounded by tiny little gardens with furniture to sit and enjoy your morning tea/ coffee and breakfast(if you order room dining) outside the villas, the other rooms are no less, they have open seating outside as well to enjoy a private meal or drinks with your loved ones under warm lighting. The resort has alot of green areas all around the rooms, where you can unwind and relax. There is also an area for outdoor activities like rope climbing, etc. We only used their main lawn and the pool side for our events, the lawn and the pool side have gates separating them, which can be opened for a larger gathering. Inside the rooms you have all the standard amenities, with amazing wall decor( love the witty quotes), some rooms also have very cute looking bunk beds which can be used for an additional family member or kids. Other rooms have a sofa cum bed, which can accomodate extra occupants if any. When we were finalizing the resort, all the rooms did not have lockers. As promised by management additional lockers were procured for our event and most of the rooms had lockers, and more were on their way for the remaining rooms. The green areas around the rooms can be utilised for any small pre-wedding ceremonies that you might have. Overall the resort gives a very happy festive vibe. Even if you want to plan a quick weekend getaway, Downton Resort is the place where you can just unwind,enjoy the food and their amazing beer. Downtown Resort also has a restaurant and a brewery, which serves amazing wheat beer.

Our Wedding at Downtown My fiancé and I wanted to get married at a place which is a little away from Delhi but not too far. We were looking for a sweet undiscovered resort which is warm, of a good standard and provides all the comforts. We had lost all hopes but then we came across downtown resorts. One visit and we were sold!! From their rooms to their restaurant to their brewery, we loved it all!!! We finalised the resort as our venue and naturally paid multiple visits to them for the planning. We were received warmly on each visit and the resort extended all the help that we needed. One major factor that I am sure will take this resort to great heights is their flexibility and willingness to help. The resort was very well prepared for all our events. They had taken a detailed plan from us and were very well prepared from their end. Our guests absolutely loved the resort. They enjoyed their in-house brewed beer and EVERYBODY gave us a great feedback on the food. Every host is worried about the food and so were we. But we were told that the food was just perfect. Not too heavy and not too light. And a lot of our guests praised the staff of the resort too saying that their stay was more enjoyable because of the warmth of the staff. I would like to thank Mr Deepak and chef Susheel Datt and the rest of the staff for giving us a beautiful wedding. We will keep visiting the resort with friends and family as it the perfect weekend getaway.

Got married in the property and it was an amazing experience. Loved the service and hospitality from the team. The food was outstanding and the property is perfect for an intimate wedding.
