You can choose between floating cottages and land cottages for accommodation and revel in a ship cruise on the palm-fringed shores of entrancing backwaters. Poovar Island Resort has 78 cottages offering a range of accommodation options. 56 rooms can be used as triples. The bathrooms come equipped with Jacuzzis, bathtubs or rain showers. 48 rooms go with a hammock within the terrace. This beautiful resort is situated in Pozhiyoor, Trivandrum district of Kerala. Poovar Island Resort is three kilometres from Poovar depot. It is 30 km from both Trivandrum Railway Station and Trivandrum International Airport. The resort is accessible solely by a 10-minute boat ride on the stream.
