The venue is breathtaking. Having this is the backdrop for my wedding was genuinely one of the top decisions. Pros: Wonderful venue, very peaceful, quiet and properly maintained. The rooms are great and spacious, we had multiple guests sleeping in the rooms without them feeling uncomfortable. Staff and porters are very helpful albeit they aren’t very prompt. Cons: It is almost 3 hours away from Kolkata Airport. Logistics can get very expensive and needs a very good team to handle. The management at Rajbari is severely lacking. Not only are they never available when we need them, but they will not accommodate requests or be understanding for your issues. They will be charging for everything, even if you are spending multiple lakhs, they will nickel and dime you for everything Their catering menu is very very expensive to the point it was cheaper for us to get an external caterer for half the price and same quality. Overall, wonderful venue but challenging management and location.

While the venue is breathtaking, the management was very difficult to deal with. Communication was inconsistent, and we constantly had to follow up on things that should have been handled smoothly. When we actually needed them during the events, they were often nowhere to be found. We still managed to have a beautiful wedding, but I wouldn’t recommend it to other brides, unless the management seriously improves or changes.

We had the most amazing wedding thanks to the Bawali team. The location is a stunner but what gives it the edge is the people. The staff and crew are the nicest, most genuine people. I think at the end of the day, that's what really matters. The food was carefully curated, the experience lovingly crafted so for us, we would recommend Bawali always.

I have mixed reviews, in that the venue is fantastic and very dreamy. It easily lends itself to decor and is generally great for a small wedding but management is scattered, they’re understaffed and service is 50-50 at best. Plus they’re not very keen on having outside catering and their own menu is quite limited. So logistically it’s a bit of a nightmare.

It was a destination.Everything was perfect and beyond words. We all loved the venue and the space. Our guests were quite happy with the services and hospitality.
