Brides Beware – Do Not Book Shimla Havens Resort for Weddings I have proofs in writing of what was promised versus what was delivered, and I am happy to share them if required. My sincere request to all future brides and families: please do not book this property for a wedding. As a bride, I want to strongly caution others against choosing Shimla Havens Resort. While their SPOC, Parul, was extremely sweet and convincing in the beginning, her true colors showed just before and during the wedding. What should have been the happiest days for me and my family turned into two of the most stressful days of our lives. Parul made big promises initially, but anything that wasn’t specifically written down was flatly denied later. Shockingly, even items that were clearly mentioned in writing — like my Haldi floral jewelry — were not delivered. We had also paid extra for heavy décor and pyros, yet neither was provided. Instead of accountability, Parul and her husband chose to argue and fight with us, adding unnecessary tension during the wedding. The dishonesty didn’t stop there. Parul treated my vendors, including my makeup artist and mehendi artists, with disrespect simply because I hadn’t booked them through her. My makeup artist, Brenda, also faced issues with her and confirmed that Parul had even withheld money unfairly. To make matters worse, Parul falsely claimed that she and her husband own the entire resort, when in reality they are only partners. Every single deliverable had to be fought for, despite the fact that we had already paid upfront. For example, for my Haldi, all we received were two very small cane baskets of petals for the shower — a shocking level of cost-cutting despite charging us for “heavy décor.” No bride should have to endure this kind of stress, manipulation, and dishonesty. My family and I felt cheated at every step. I would strongly urge all brides and families to stay away from Shimla Havens Resort for weddings. Save yourself from the heartbreak, frustration, and financial loss that we went through.

I had my destination wedding at Shimla havens resort & they made my day memorable. They organised our stay & the events very nicely & added surprises as well. I highly recommend them for stays & events, they cater all needs asked. They deal everything professionally & Parul ji is so sweet & good natured. Thank you so much for everything!
