I made a booking for the banquet hall at Royal Moments, Kirti Nagar, on 15 May 2022. I provided an upfront payment of 25%, approximately six months in advance, following my parents' satisfaction with both the cuisine and the interior of the banquet hall. Surprisingly, there was no post-payment communication from their side, necessitating my proactive effort to confirm that everything was proceeding as planned. On the wedding day, I was expected to settle the remaining 75% of the payment in cash. Unfortunately, heavy traffic on November 4th led to significant delays for everyone, including myself. Regrettably, the individual responsible for carrying the cash was caught in traffic near Noida. The situation escalated when the staff began to trouble my father, even threatening to disconnect the power supply unless they received payment within half an hour. Frustrated, I opted to make an online payment to resolve the issue. To my dismay, they informed me of an 18% GST charge for online transactions. In my state of frustration, I was only able to send 50,000 INR plus GST due to limitations on transferring funds to a new beneficiary through internet banking. I implored them to wait for just one hour, but this resulted in my father's humiliation in front of numerous relatives, creating a chaotic scene at the banquet hall. Throughout this distressing experience, the staff, particularly an individual named Gaurav Singh, persistently demanded money from me and my relatives. Adding to the disappointment, there was a noticeable discrepancy between the quality of the food served on the wedding day and the food offered during our tasting. Furthermore, several items listed on the menu were conspicuously absent on the wedding day. Mr. Gaurav Singh had the audacity to request money even on Holi and at various intervals, despite the harrowing experience we had endured over several months. I regretfully assign this banquet hall a zero-star rating. It is evident that their primary concern is financial gain, without consideration for the emotional toll such situations can take on families. I sincerely urge everyone to reconsider using the services of Royal Moments, Kirti Nagar. Your family and you may deeply regret it. The final decision rests with your discernment and risk assessment.
