11 New Knockout Dupatta Tricks For The Modern Bride!

Bored of seeing dupattas draped the same ol' boring way at weddings? Then how about you spice things up a bit? Well, we've already told you ALL the ways to drape a dupatta here, ways to take a bridal double dupatta here and showed you some cool new unique ways here as well, but we thought we'd tell you some cool new knockout dupatta tricks we've spotted recently!
Dupatta with a waistbelt
We saw this real bride wear one of her bridal dupattas clinched with a matching waistbelt, and doesn't it look gorgeous? Keeps the dupatta in place and looks amaze too!
With a belt inbuilt in the blouse
This real bride had a unique blouse with a belt through which the lehenga's dupatta was taken, and it looks pretty cool! See how neat the pleats of the dupatta are, and they're gonna stay that way!
Dupatta pinned like a drape
This is another interesting way to drape a dupatta! Two ends pinned to the shoulder, one end hanging below like the drape and the last one taken behind and pinned- so it looks more like a drape than a dupatta... but an interesting way if you have an interesting dupatta!
Draped over one hand and the head
This is a royal style to see a bridal dupatta draped, but one that's not seen very often! The same dupatta draped over the head and the hand- like a queen!
Dupatta with a train left behind
This real bride chose to have a long dupatta for the head which was left behind like a train- pretty dramatic and totally gorgeous if you're looking to drape your bridal dupatta in a unique way!
Dupatta draped like a cape
While capes are totally in these days, if you want to go for a more classic look, then draping the dupatta like a cape is a good idea! This idea works well if you want the focus to be on your blouse and your lehenga.
Almost invisible dupatta
Taking the dupatta from behind is common, but if you take a short one and tie it around both the wrists (and not the elbow like the common way), then it becomes almost invisible- great if you want to go for more of a western look with the lehenga!
Criss-crossed over one shoulder and other arm
This is a very good trick for a net dupatta, otherwise it will cover too much of the outfit. Take the dupatta over one shoulder and the arm and bring the other side with a twist over the opposite arm's wrist. Looks nice!

This style is also super in these days! Blouse which come with pre attached dupattas so you don't have the fuss of pins at all and gives the outfit a very edgy look!
Like a sling bag strap
Now this is new and interesting! The dupatta pleated so neatly and thinly, that only the thin border comes across the chest more like a sling bag strap! Very modern and edgy!
Attached to a low bun behind
Not over the whole head, but only over a low bun, and only one dupatta for the bridal look covering the shoulder and the arms. This is a fresh new look for brides!
Pinned together at the back
Both the ends of the dupatta pinned beautifully behind- now that's something new! This is a good option for the Mehendi function when you don't want your dupatta to interfere in things or get super dirty!
