We wanted the wedding to be warm and thoughtful. We were far away from doing anything over the top. We just wanted everyone to have a good time and feel involved. So our dance performances included practically everyone, my mother made 1200 mehendi bangles as Mehendi favours to gift to all the girls and my dad sang my bridal entry song. We wanted a winter day wedding, so that everyone can enjoy the sun, some bellinis, be there for the pheras and everyone is present at my vidai - all of this cam true! It was like a fun garden party, people eating, drinking and dancing, We called Gymkhana club's retro singer who sang oldies but the goldies :)

She and her team are the most talented and accommodating bunch of people I know! She called me in for my trial with my outfits and heard me out on the kind of looks I wanted, and gave me constructive inputs. She was calm and patient, and created magic on all the days! The best part is that she doesn't drastically transform you into someone else, you just look like a better version of yourself, which is what I wanted. Her skills are just fabulous! Gaurav, who is on her team did my hair and I cannot rave enough about him. He is too is very patient and friendly.

Mohit and his team were the perfect choice. I/ve loved how he conceptualizes his work and his candid pictures are breath taking! We developed great comfort with him in the first meeting. His team is so hard working and so good at what they do :)

The theme of our invitation was memories from each place that we've traveled to together. It had a note with our story, because I wanted all the guests to know and be part of our love story. My best friend - Tanvi Ghaisas designed it for me, and it turned out a million times better than how I had imagined it. She incorporated every last minute tweak, and gave it her all like it was her own card. I got it printed from BoxIT, a local wedding card printer in Bombay - from choosing the paper, designing the box, going from print proofing, I've done it all. The card went with a box of our favourite snacks from childhood - Kali Khatti Kishmish, Rose Dusted Almonds, Iranian Pistas and Sundried Mangoes!
