Payal & Nihar's Sophisticated Wedding and Cocktail in Mumbai !

You spotted their sweet mehendi - an elegant, chic modern affair that really made us bookmark a ton of decor inspiration we spotted . Their cocktail and wedding followed suite, with an all out Moroccan theme on cocktail night, to a grand wedding celebration at the NSCI, Mumbai. The beauty of the night was captured beautifully by Morvi Images Photography !

"I was visiting Antwerp and came across brilliant designer Natthida who gave me a beautiful, big, fluffy dress that made me look like a princess in Dreamland". She says, "I was aiming for a regal, elegant look. This dress just swept me off my feet. The texture was beautiful and the colour perfect. It was all what I was looking for"
The wedding ceremony followed a Europe-meets-Asia theme with white and red decor. Payal hired an Indian catering group to develop the vegetarian menu, and brought their chefs to Hong Kong to try all her favourite restaurants in order to work some local dishes into the selection. “There was a Sichuan corner, a Lebanese corner, a cheese counter, and nitrogen ice cream,” she says. “Everything was either made fresh in front of you, or was interactive.” She also states that creating a great menu for the wedding was very important. “I’m a huge foodie and wanted to share my heritage, as well as Nihar’s, for our guests to enjoy. I know for a wedding to be successful, especially amongst Indians, there must be amazing food and entertainment.”
As far as the lehenga was concerned, there was a particular red that Payal was keen on for her wedding dress but couldn't find it. Until one day, when she walked into Manish Malhotra 's store again and found that exact red and just the kind of work that would make her look regal and royal. She says, "It was stunning with rich zari embroidery. It had two dupattas- the lighter one on the head and the heavier one with rich work for draping." Payal complemented the look with heavy jewelry and Bianca did her make-up to suit her look.
