Pretty Sikh Wedding in Phuket with tons of colour!

BY Latha Sunadh | 20 May, 2016 | 8176 views | 3 min read

It isn't easy to recreate Punjab in Phuket but that is exactly what this wedding was. The Mehendi was a cute affair with vibrant tables and interesting umbrella lanterns. But what really caught our eye - the Louboutins which every girl at WedMeGood is lusting over. Want. All of this perfectly captured by Colomono Photography.

From The Bride:
"Sunny and I wanted our guests to have a non stop partying over the three days and we wanted every function to be different and better than the previous one. We made sure we got the tempo going from the get-go with the live-size caricatures of Sunny and myself at the airport to the hampers and hangover packs in the rooms. We wanted the decor and entertainment to suit each theme and that is why we had varied performers at each event. The Meet Brothers on the sangeet night were amazing and really got all the guests on their feet. "Paris House Addicts" at the reception straight from Paris were the perfect way to cap off the events. It was classy and heaps of fun. We even made sure the wedding ceremony was streamed live from the Gurdwara to the hotel and around the world in case our guests partied too hard the night before. We had a very international guest list and wanted to make sure the wedding was fairly Indian as well as Thai and Western. Food was a very important focus throughout the planning and we made a point to have multiple cuisines at each event" says Sital.
"My outfits were planned around my jewellery. I did not really know what to go for, all I knew for sure was I did not want my clothes and jewellery to "drown" me. I wanted to be the star, not my outfit! With that mindset, I bought all my clothes. I also wanted to be comfortable, especially at the wedding itself as I knew it would be warm and it was going to be a long day and hence opted for a lighter outfit and a lighter dupatta. Manish Malhotra's collection at the time was to die for and hence why I chose a number of outfits from him" adds Sital.
