This Bride Made 8 Completely Different Bridal Aesthetics Work- & We’re Taking Notes!

Most brides pick a colour story and stick to it. Vidushi picked a mood for every single event instead — and somehow made a terracotta Haldi saree, a jewel-toned Sufi Night lehenga and a soft coral-pink bridal look all feel like they belonged to the same wedding. Nothing about her styling repeated itself, yet nothing felt disconnected either. Add in a venue that didn't need dressing up and a photography team that leaned hard into candid, in-between moments, and what you get is a wedding that reads less like a checklist of "bridal must-haves" and more like a masterclass in dressing with intention. Brides taking notes: this is your sign to think in moods, not just colours.

Meet Vidushi and Varun

Varun's always lived in Bombay, Vidushi's a Delhi girl — different cities, different careers (her in design and acting, him in sport and then FMCG), but somehow always circling the same orbit. When she moved to Bombay in 2022, her building was close enough that Varun could literally see it from his window — and yet their paths never crossed. Around the same time, her mother had her write down a list of non-negotiables for her ideal man.

They finally got acquainted at the gym in 2024, both having quietly worked out there for two years without meeting. It was Vidushi's birthday, and Varun — not usually one for cake — stuck around for it anyway. They properly met when he showed up at one of her promotional events, and she drove his car home as promised. A few dates later came one that stretched 16 hours — talking about everything, driving all over the city — and that's when they both knew something had shifted. A month into dating, Vidushi pulled out that old list. Varun, without knowing it existed, had checked every single box.

Haldi

The simplest look of the week, and maybe the most striking for it — a terracotta red saree, oversized floral kaleeras, dainty jewellery and barely-there makeup. Both the saree and the look were entirely custom: Vidushi sourced the fabric, chose the dye and designed the silhouette herself, with Sampada by Shruti bringing it to life.

Mehendi & Choora

The jewel-toned switch-up of the week — a steel-blue Banarasi lehenga in an antique silver weave, styled with customised jewellery from House of Tuhina, stacked necklaces, arm cuffs and an extravagant parandi. Regal, dramatic, and a world away from the usual mirror-work Sangeet look.

Choora

Like her Haldi look, this one started on Pinterest and ended up entirely her own — custom-designed by Vidushi and executed by Sampada by Shruti, who also brought her full trousseau to life.

Sangeet

Every bride dreams of wearing white at some point — Vidushi finally found the gown that made it work. A Tarun Tahiliani white gown, styled deliberately light on jewellery: a tennis necklace set with mixed-cut diamonds and a simple Swarovski bracelet, letting the gown itself take the spotlight.

Pre Wedding Party

A corset lehenga from Basanti – Kapde Aur Koffee, styled with gold jewellery, a passa and stacked bangles for a look that felt regal without tipping into heavy.

Wedding

The dreamiest look of the week — a coral-pink lehenga by Dolly J from Pernia's Pop-Up Shop, layered with intricate gold embroidery, paired with a matching veil and a timeless diamond choker. Polki jewellery by Preeti Mohan and a soft, half-up wave finished the look, while a baby-pink chooda kept it feeling fresh rather than traditional-for-the-sake-of-it. Soft, romantic, and undeniably bridal.

This sister Duo is one of my first vendors to be locked!( almost 1 year in advance). I Was very sure that i want my makeup to be super natural and glowy, not use too much product and no filters!!. i locked vishakha and just trusted her with everything and i think it was the best decision ever. I am an actor and now have found my entourage. mishthi is still in college and killng it with her hairstyles.

Their team went beyond what we were expecting, although we still haven't received the wedding film and most of the output, the manner in which they captured us and the energy they had was amazing.

Groomwear: Label Granth

Granth by Vigsons designed all the outfits. All the outfits had to be redone last moment as there were loads of mishaps with the previous designers as a result of which we had to source someone in Mumbai, Granth is a design studio which has been making outfits for my family for years now and their output for outfits for all functions was great. Goes to show however expensive and credible the designer may be the output still depends on the effort and emotion along with mastery of the craft which Granth displayed.
