Udaipur Wedding With Glamorous Outfits From Hidden Gems!

BY Sakshi | 24 Apr, 2024 | 1007 views | 6 min read

When the couple said that they didn't want a 'cookie cutter wedding', they really proved it! Arpita and Yashwin had a glam destination wedding in Udaipur, but what caught our attention here were the fab bridal outfits- and all of them from some hidden gems! From her pastel lehenga for the wedding to her glam cocktail outfit and reception gown, each of her looks was on point. Also don't miss her uber fun after party look! Check out this beautiful wedding, captured by Rikaar Films★ 5 to perfection.

Meet Arpita and Yashwin

They met for the first time with a group of friends on a night out in 2013. Being friends was never an option for them because he hated her since she had a huge attitude problem and she hated him since he hated her!! However, destiny had different plans for them. While they wandered through life on our own paths, they didn't realise that our lives were intertwined, invisibly.

From The Bride:

Our wedding took place on March 14th and 15th. We're not your average couple. We got engaged in May 2023 and knew we wanted to do a wedding but neither of us grew up dreaming of the perfect wedding. The only thing we knew is that we didn't want it to be just another cookie cutter wedding. We're both extremely relaxed and chill people and we just couldn't wrap our heads around spending extreme amounts of money on a grand lavish 2 day event, so we kept it simple and focused on what matters the most to us - our relationship with the people we love. Our wedding was built around simplistic but beautiful decor, delicious food, a whole lot of alcohol, great music and moments but most importantly being surrounded by the people that matter the most to us.

About The WedMeGood App

We did use the WedMeGood App! It helped us find multiple vendors for Safa tying, catering and hampers. The interface is so easy to use and the fact that there are reviews available for every vendor makes it even better for us as the bride and groom to decide whom to go with.

Photography: Rikaar Films

Arpita was looking for a photographer for the wedding and I choose to do it in the way I knew best - putting up an IG Story (LOL) and while I got multiple replies one reply stuck out to me the most, his work was amazing but that's not what caught my eye, it was his persistence. Wedding planning isn't easy and I needed someone who would follow up with me and Varun did just that. We planned to meet while I was wedding shopping in Delhi and what I thought would be a quick 30 minute meeting turned into 3 hours of us talking like we were lost long friends or even better, family! Ever since Varun joined the wedding team he has been an absolute breeze to work with, he’s been constantly available for us over the phone or text, always giving us new ideas or inputs on the type of photos/videos/reels we can take, suggesting music that would work over said videos, planning and coordinating with his team and more and I couldn't and wouldn't choose anybody else even if I had a do-over.

Makeup Artist: Roma Khanna

Roma got introduced to us via our wedding planner and we have loved every bit of our time working with her, shes extremely sweet, organized and easy going to work with. She went above and beyond for me as the bride and I will always remember this one instance where she brought different kinds of face masks and as I entered the room for my wedding makeup she told me to first put on a face mask and chill lie down for a bit just to take a breather and refresh my skin. It's the little things like this that a bride really doesnt have time to think about and I'm so lucky Roma did and that's really the difference between a professional make up artist and any other artist. Bless her!

Wedding Planning: Komal Bhatia and Team (Manmeet Sandhu, Palaash Singhvi, Divya Rohira, Niranjan Joshi, Sidhu Uppal, Jeet Waghmare, Sanyukta Gujare)

Which couple ever gets to say that their wedding planner was their sister? We're extremely blessed to be able to say that because there is nobody who will put their heart and soul into your wedding like family would. Komal Bhatia is the groom's sister and the bride's confidant. She and her team of planners are all freelancers and have worked on some of the biggest weddings all around the world and cumulatively bring over 15 years of experience to the table. Each of them joined the wedding with their own skillset and tasks at hand and nailed them. They went above and beyond and wore multiple hats during the entire wedding, putting our fires all over the place without us even getting to know what they were. We appreciate the entire team and would highly reccommend them to anybody planning their wedding.

Decor: Silver Craft Events

Our hotel put us in touch with them and our journey didnt start of well but it took an amazing turn, to put it straight they’re a very busy company and do events all across Rajasthan and in the begining it was very hard to reach out to them, get replies to emails and messages and this was becoming very hard to deal with and creating a lot of stress for us but as we approached closer to the wedding dates they started to get more involved (and maybe that’s just how they work) however we cannot begin to express the gratitude we have for them because apart from a couple of meetings online and telling them what we wanted they they went all out and exceeded our expectations. The decor was stunning, with everything done on time and not a hair out of place. They were brilliant!
