Terrible customer service !! Was at the store today and spent a good 30 minutes in the store with the bride trying out a bridal lehenga and the rest of the time discussing alterations to the blouse. We were told by the staff to leave since “the owner is watching on the cctv and does not want us to sit for too long if we don’t make an order” By the way the store was completely empty and the bride was still trying to finalise the blouse design with the shop assistants. As if buying your wedding lehenga is a short 30 min venture. This is the first ever experiencing this bizarre behaviour . Will no longer be patronising thier brand !

Some of the most chique designs and gorgeous color pallettes. I had got my mehendi outfit customised from Agunj - design from one of the kashmiri embroidered pantsuits customised in a lehenga style. They are very open about customizing styles, colors and designs. Must visit the store and you will surely shine in a crowd.

Choosing the wedding outfit is one of the most difficult decision but as soon as I entered their store, I knew I'm going to end up buying my wedding outfit from here. I'm so happy with their collection and the choices they have to offer us brides. The fitting was perfect and the delivery of the outfit was right on time. Great team and work.

Experience here has been what you would truly call unprofessional and unpleasant. They will take the longest time to get your stuff ready and never stick to the deadlines for trial or delivery. Having purchased something as important as bridal lehenga, it was surprising to see their laidback, unconcerned and irresponsible behaviour in the final product. We had to make do with an unfinished product at the end since they took ages to even get that completed.

It's one of the best shops to shop from for your bridal couture. They have an amazing range of collection. So glad I chose them to do my wedding outfits. They did a great job and match the expectations I had. They have great customer services and they make sure you have trials way before your function for a hassle free journey.

the outfit was good and the collection was great but since it was the peak season of weddings , my outfit got a little delayed and also had to go for fitting twice which was a little bit of hassle. Otherwise the outfit was great.

I'm extremely glad that I bought my outfit from Agunj. It was so beautiful! Her warmth and the fact that she readied my outfit in a week spoke volumes about her commitmentSource

I have my cousins wedding in December and after searching for something unique that is not an anarkali/ lehenga ended up picking a blush and grey off shoulder top from Agunj . I love how clean and beautiful the work is but my favourite part is that this store has the most unique silhouettes. I found beautiful drapes, concept saris from here and while it is not the cheapest, it is not exorbitant either.

I was shopping for my wedding and I was so perturbed because I' am a very picky person because of which my husband likes to bang his head against the wall while shopping with me. It is very hard to please me and something has to really convince me. It just has to click, it could be the first option I see or after hundred. Coming back to my wedding Gunjan was the first designer other than Sabyasachi (I bought my reception saree from Sabyasachi And trousseau suits) I selected for my functions and dare I say she made such nice collection for my trousseau and special mention for my wedding and cocktail garments for which she changed my look completely that I was surprised that I can look like a princess (being a total tomboy) obviously I worked hard to reduce weight and took care of my skin but there was special compliments for my garments and specially the way they were complimenting my physique. Well cost wise I believe it is not the fame that should decide the cost of the garment it is the end product and design of the garment and I was happy to pay for what I was charged. Needless to say whenever I do need Indian traditional dresses agunj has become one of the first choices to see. Sorry for the long post. All the best Gunjan Arora!!

My cousin bought two absolutely beautiful cocktail dresses from this store in Delhi. Got a blush pink lehenga for myself too afterwards. Looked absolutely stunning. Little overpriced but totally worth it.

I live in Mumbai but specially took a trip to Delhi because of all the designers you've mentioned in several posts, and I had never heard ofAgunjbut I found them via your site. Let me start by saying that among all the designers I've dealt with for my engagement and wedding events, I have never had a more off-putting experience than I did with the designer, Gunjan Arora, and I strongly regret having commissioned an outfit from her! I don't want anyone else to have to deal with such an experience and waste their money on her (and I can tell you, as I am wearing a Sabyasachi bridal couture lehenga for my pheras and Madsam Tinzin for my mehendi, I'm sure you can see it's not like I am being miserly with any designer here!

I didn't ask Gunjan for anything complicated, just a color change on an existing lehenga sample design she had in store, and of course, made to my measurements (I'm quite a standard size S, again nothing out of the blue). At the time, she agreed to everything including couriering the final outfit to me, and reassured me that I wouldn't need any alterations. She measured me herself. It was supposed to take a month. She also happily took a very large advance from my mother (which was a big mistake and we should have known better but thought this was a legitimate operation and trusted the reference from WedMeGood!)

Two months later, I was still struggling to get any response out of her via emails, calls or Whatsapp, and when she replied it would be with a lot of excuses, eg. embroiderer has gone to his village, etc etc. I had ordered my MadSam outfit at the same time as theAgunjone, and the MadSam outfit arrived exactly 28 days later in beautiful condition - in a garment bag, beautifully packed, and absolutely PERFECT in terms of sizing even though I had asked for tweaks and color changes... no hassles at all. When theAgunjlehenga was finally ready, which was over 2 months later, I was out of the country and had to deal with it on my return. I had told her to communicate with my mother in my absence, and she didn't at all in spite of my mom trying to get in touch. On top of that, she had the audacity to charge me for the courier, saying that the lehenga was fluffy and she didn't want it to get crumpled so I had to pay more for a bigger box... I caved in and paid the courier charge along with the remaining balance, even though MadSam had not charged me extra for their courier. When the lehenga arrived, it was 1) badly wrinkled, stuffed into a filthy plastic bag, then stuffed into a small carton and 2) the courier bill that I signed showed me that Gunjan had made money off of the extra charges because it didn't cost even half of what she charged me. Also, there was no garment bag, which she had promised.

I thought my problems ended there, but they had just started. First, the colour was completely wrong; I had asked for ivory white based on a different sample piece in her store, and instead she gave me a filthy grey-beige that looked like a set of dirty old sheets!!! Then, the top was so badly stitched it didn't even close at all, and the sleeves wouldn't even let a baby's arms go through! (I hadn't gained weight, in fact I had lost a little bit by then and even then it didn't remotely fit). My mother knows about couture stitching and she told me that the work that had been done on the blouse was extremely amateur... given the prices Gunjan charges, it doesn't merit this kind of work at all. I called Gunjan personally and she was not only extremely rude to me, but also to my mother!!! We were both completely shocked at this treatment but I now see that since she had all the money in her hands she felt no responsibility at all, and she didn't accept any responsibility for the completely wrong color which she said was subjective! As a graphic designer myself I can assure you that this was not a subtle difference of color, it was like black vs. white. She said if I wanted it fixed I had to send it back at my own cost and pay more for the fixes! Since the garment was completely unusable without the alterations I still agreed, and paid a bomb to ship the lehenga properly with a reputable courier back to her. I had to deal with the same problems again of no replies to my emails or messages for weeks, and finally, a month after that, I got the lehenga in hand in the correct color and size. Even then the dupatta color was very shabby looking and overall it really doesn't look worth wearing for a sangeet so I have decided to keep it as a backup outfit for some other minor event. As a final slap, I noticed that she has just started selling on Pernia's Pop Up Shop... and she is selling the outfit that mine was based on for Rs. 13,000 less! So now I feel even more cheated!

I have been so utterly disgusted by this experience withAgunj. This designer is not worth being featured as a vendor on your blog! If other people have similar experiences it will invalidate the quality of the recommendations made on WedMeGood and because I am a big fan I feel you should know this. Sorry for the giant essay above, but it was necessary to make it clear that they are extremely unprofessional, the designer is quite simply very rude and crass and cannot call herself a designer or sell outfits in the price range she has occupied when she treats her clients like this and doesn't know how a garment is constructed
