I bought gold jewelry from amrapali store at Delhi airport. I was given an invoice missing pertinent information such as gold Purity, weight, making charges etc I noticed that after I reached my country. I contacted the company to dispute the ridiculously high making charges and nothing was done about it. Not recommended. A total rip off. Dishonest business.

I bought from the Delhi airport store and the sales team quoted me a price of circa £35-40 for an item of jewellery which I confirmed several times before purchasing. They then charged my card to the value of £330 by putting a different amount into the card machine than they did on the calculator when I discussed the cost (Rs3508 on the calculator and then Rs35080 on the system). My colleague also fell victim to this to the amount of almost £900 instead of the circa £80 that she was quoted. They take a huge amount of time which means you are getting closer and closer to your flight time and they place your invoice and receipt into the envelope so you do not see this straight away. All the time talking amongst themselves or to you to distract. When contacted they claimed it could never be the price quoted as it is gold - they do not inform you of the materials they only talk price. They then refuse to engage in any communication after this and essentially get away with fraud. DO NOT buy from this company, you will only come to regret it.

They're one of the best jewellers in town and I couldn't agree any more. They have great collection of jewellery and some of their pieces are so royal and beautifully made. My Mehendi, Engagement, Haldi and Sangeet jewellery was carefully picked from Amrapali. Love how every jewellery piece of theirs is so gorgeous, unique and one-of-a-kind. It truly stood out and complimented my outfits beautifully. Have always been an Amprali loyalist and making their jewellery a part of my wedding was the best decision.
