Where do I even start with Sejal? :) I first saw her work at my cousin’s wedding and instantly knew I wanted her for mine. From the very beginning, she was so patient and involved, we had multiple video calls (despite the US-India time difference!) just so she could understand my skin and talk through every little detail. I had a vision, I wanted each of my looks (mehendi, haldi, sangeet, wedding, sufi night, reception) to feel completely different and unique. Sejal totally got that. She and her sister Shruti (shoutout — she did my gorgeous engagement look 💖) went above and beyond, not just with makeup, but helping me finalize accessories, hairstyles, draping… the whole vibe. Big shoutout to Aayushi, her hairstylist, she was the sweetest! I have really thin hair and was super confused about my sangeet hairstyle, but she was so patient and worked through it all. She even surprised me with the cutest custom hair accessory with my husband’s name in it, it was the sweetest gesture and honestly meant so much! <3 And not just me, Sejal and Ayushi did my mom’s makeup too. My mom is the simplest lady (she hasn’t worn makeup since her wedding!) and they made her feel so comfortable and confident. Despite the time crunch, they made sure we were both ready on time and feeling our best. More than just my MUA, Sejal was my calming force during the madness of wedding chaos — part artist, part therapist, full-time hype woman 🫶 She made me feel beautiful, heard, and so confident, even when I opened up about my insecurities. Sejal, choosing you was the best decision ever, this bond is way beyond just client and vendor. Thank you for everything! To all brides, I highly, highly, highllyyyyy recommend her! The first time I met Shruti was when I attended a make up workshop by Mbellish by Sejal. The way Shruti studied the model face and decided on the make up was amazing. The end result was gorgeous. Since then, I have got my make up and hair done by Shruti and her team twice and my experience has been absolutely fantastic. She made me look lovely, yes of course! And, the make up stayed fresh for close to 8 hours. Her warmth immediately puts one at ease, she’s a sweetheart. I definitely recommend them and wish them lots of luck.
