Wedding day turned into a nightmare. The MUA was very polite and very sweet until i started questioning the things she did . Her attitude slightly changed when i told her to fix my eyebrows because it was looking dark, she started giving me logic behind things even when i told her that its not looking good. By that time she was still doing my makeup. Then my sister came and noticed few details on my face and told her that this needs to be foxed. I havent seen anyone so unprofessional in my entire life. This makeup artist gets highly pissed off because some critisized her work and starts arguing with my sister and me. Even after telling her that please dont do it its my big day she kept her attitude strong and wasnt ready to fix anything and was telling my sister to fix it for me instead. If a person is paying you a big amount atleast they should be satisfied by the work you do. And you dont especially on a big day if you screw things up people are going to get anxious because your work was a bizarre and because of you my whole event was put at stake. She showed us that she has fixed things and left (literally ran away) from this place . How she fixed it is given in the attachment. Concealer is visible around the lips . Lip line is offf . I dont understand how people can even work like this and with such attitude

Shruti is perfect makeup artist. Tell her the look you want and she will execute it with perfection. I wanted a light elegant makeup that does not make me look like someone else…and she did it. She loves to listens to her bride with patience and I really appreciate her giving me short breaks in b/w. The product she used is of excellent quality that didn’t give me a single pimple or rash on my skin. My older sister and I organized my younger sister’s wedding. In this process, I interviewed multiple beauticians to find the right fit. When I talked to Sejal, she was very professional in answering the process of make-up, her principles in bridal makeup, her experience, and finally the pricing. Even though we were oceans apart during this first conversation, I had a gut feeling that we were going to finalize with them and we did. I understood from the initial conversation that Sejal and her sister Shruthi operate from different locations and Sejal handed me over to Shruthi. Further conversations with Shruthi were also equally impressive - full of respect, with no pushy sales tactics. One of the challenges we had was that the bride had to start getting her make-up done at 4 am. Shruthi and Sejal graciously accepted the challenge. In fact, on the day of the event, Shruthi’s team was at the venue at 3:45 am. Shruthi and her team of four (if I remember correctly) were professional in their approach, listened to our preferences, were very skillful, courteous, and most of all, humble. Even when we provided some constructive criticism Shruthi was extremely humble in accepting and later that evening, Sejal too responded the same way. The other thing that I would like to commend them on is that they came prepared with not just the basic equipment and tools for makeup and hairdo but also the ring lights, extension cords etc. … not leaving anything to the chance of availability. That is true professionalism where you minimize your dependency on other factors. We loved working with Sejal and Shruthi. Would highly recommend them for any event.
