Got Akash’s reference from a friend! Shouldn’t have trusted him and his delivery timeline. I got married on 6th March 2024, and his team was there to capture the wedding. However, following up with him for over a year to give us the video and teaser and other photos. Still haven’t received that. Akash doesn’t respond, has blocked all contact channels and has not delivered. Sick of his lame excuses

EDIT: Over the last few months Akash has been responsive and I am happy to say he has closed all of our deliverables. He was patient and went back and forth on our requests making edits as required. His work was good. I hope he learns to better space out his work and just take up work he can handle. This has to be the worst individual I have worked with ever! It has now been 1yr 5 months and I have only received part of the deliverables. He is a smooth talker and will make all the promises in the world but always fails to keep any of them. At this point he has started ghosting us and just appears once in a few weeks or months to respond to us. It has been a frustrating journey. I hope you take this seriously and avoid this guy. You are just going to be in a world of pain.

The Picture Factory is simply AMAZING! Right from the first phone conversation, Akash has been super enthusiastic, and supportive. It was almost like having a friend along the way. During our pre-wedding shoot, he put us at ease right away and the photographs were amazing! If I could give 0 stars, I would. If you don’t care about your event or your photos, TPF is the perfect photographer for you. Aakash is all talk and no work at all, and his best trait is lying. Everything you see on his Instagram is a lie. It’s been more than a year since our wedding and we haven’t even received a single edited photo forget any of the other deliverables. We’ve made the full payment and hence he has no incentive to give us our deliverables. We made the biggest mistake of our lives by going with him. I wouldn’t wish this experience for anyone else.

Enter into a contract with akash if you do not want your wedding photographs ever and don’t care about your money. He will waste your time, money, memories. Countless follow ups over calls, emails, messages however he will not respond and completely ghost you. Don’t fall into the trap at the time of speaking to him cause that’s just a facade.

It has been more than 2.5 years since my wedding and I haven't received anything that was promised to me. My family has paid the full amount but here I am with no albums or proper videos. Highly disappointed.

When I was looking for a wedding photographer I was really worried about finding one that fit our style. There were a lot of different tastes and styles out there and I was afraid we wouldn’t find someone we both liked. We met Akash at a friends wedding function. Immediately we sensed something different as he wasn’t trying to sell himself to us. He was very low pressure and he let us look through his work without making us feel like we needed to decide right away. We did our research and kept coming back to Akash. We noticed his work at my friends function and he wasn’t posing people but rather catching them in their natural element. We set up a meeting with him and again, felt low pressure and like we had made a new friend. Once I booked TPF, I never had to worry about photography again as they were on top of things. They were organized and very quick to get back to me and return our deliverables. We decided to go ahead with TPF for our special day as we had heard great reviews from friends and sure as hell, they did not disappoint!! Roy and his team more than lived up to their reputation. We were really happy with quality of work wherein the team managed to capture all our special and candid moments during the ceremony, as well as family portraits that will be remembered for years to come. Lastly, given COVID, we were especially happy with the level of care and precaution taken by the team – they were careful to maintain a safe distance at all time and had donned face mask, face shields and gloves! Akash and his team did a stellar job for my brothers wedding. He is very warm and radiates positivity. First things first. If you’re looking for a friendly, experienced photographer with an eye for detail and the ability to capture the emotion and spontaneity of an event, I will 100% recommend Akash & his team. Before our wedding we met TPF online through Instagram and as me and my fiancé were coming to India for the wedding, we had no clue how and what to expect from Indian photographers for an event. Akash was very patient from the start and I would like to bring to notice the amount of to and fro we have done here from Germany, he never complained for any point. Infact he met my In-laws back in Pune and helped them through the whole process. It can be awkward if you’re not used to being in front of a camera but we were soon in the spirit of things and had some excellent shots from our trial shoot. On the day, the whole team was there to capture all the little moments that neither of us had really thought about. Shoes. Cuff links. Hair. Flower arrangements. Table settings. Pre-ceremony nerves. Since all these ceremonies were new to me I left it completely on them to capture and didn’t bother once or complained in midst any function. The composition of every image is thought out. Lighting is used as a feature. Post processing is delicate yet adds significant impact. All in all a fantastic time with the whole team and we now have memories we’ll cherish forever. i hate writing a review and more so a negative one.... but i am left with no choice .. Mr Akash Roy, the owner nad founder of this co. is a highly unprofessional human being... after 6 months of the wedding we have still not got any videos nor highlights absolutely nothing.. at the start he promised us to give us everything withing 2 months max.. but he doesn't pick calls nor revert to messages.. even contacting in Facebook or Instagram is difficult because he blocked us.... this time of unprofessional approach is a normal thing for him...we have made him full payment but not received anything...his team also had called us as he doesn't pay them also after taking money from us.. i would warn everyone please don't fall prey to him... can rate him or his co.

I usually dont resort to writing negative reviews, but it was worth giving some time to put down my honest feedback. Firstly, when my best friend got married he was the hired photographer and I was so happy with her pictures and videos that it was almost an instant decision to hire AKASH ROY for my wedding too. Little did i know what was coming my way. Unfortunately, it was only much later that I found out about her experiences. He was very approachable and and available before the wedding. It almost seemed like he was a believer of the phrase ' Customer is king'. He just did everything right. But the minute the wedding was over my nightmares started. I have always heard about how photographers harass the clients and delay the work, so i was somewhat prepared for all the distress. But AKASH is on ANOTHER level. I was relocating soon after my wedding, so it was extremely difficult for me to get updates. It was a nightmare trying to reach him. He had all kind of excuses from some family deaths etc . At one point I was really afraid that he has lost all of my pictures, since it was taking him too long to even send me the raw dump. Once I received the dump, it again took FOREVER - 6 MONTH to receive a video. And if there is even one small change you ask him for -FORGET IT . I gave up. I was thanking my stars for the raw dump and the shabby video. At least I had something from my wedding. Now comes the ALBUM. It has been one year and 4 months and YET NO ALBUM !!! And he is always MIA. HE is NEVER AVAILABLE to speak to you. IF YOU WANT GOOD MEMORIES FROM YOUR WEDDING “DO NOT” HIRE HIM. THE PICTURE FACTORY - AKASH ROY

Akash and his team are dedicated guys who know what has to be captured among the wedding madness without being conventional. I was very happy to refer them to my best friend and couldn't have asked for a better result. I being a photographer myself wanted to choose somebody who's thought process is similar and who has no hang ups with work. So firstly, I'm sure after reading all the reviews, you can make out which are legit and which aren't. I've never written reviews in my life but after having such a bad experience I thought I should take some time off and write one so that others don't make the same mistake as me for the most important day of his/her life. We were just 3 months away from the wedding and chose the decision of hiring a photographer very hastily since we thought we were too late already. We came across TPF and met Akash a couple of times. He seemed nice to talk to and acted as if he understood everything in a Gujarati wedding coz of which we signed up with him (the biggest mistake ever). He was so accessible before the wedding since he was hungry for work but then we saw a totally different personality of him after the wedding. I got married in Feb and Akash Roy (owner of TPF) had promised me to get me the photos in a month once I was back from my honeymoon. But guess what, he went underground with very limited contact for even another month after that. Having a bad history with photographers in general, I really thought that all our photos and videos were vanished or his harddrive with all our photos must have crashed because of which he wasn't giving it to us. We had a really hard time chasing him. He had all kinds of excuses like someone in the family passed away to there was a raid in his office to what not. I should really give it to him for his creativity in this matter. Fortunately, I got a chance to speak to my friend who had hired him and also a couple of his vendors, all of who had given up on him. The problem I then realised was that he wouldn't pay his vendors so he would not get the photos on time. Then came the biggest nightmare - working with him on the videos. I must say his work is extremely shabby and zero creativity. You won't believe we had to go through the entire raw footage and also suggest songs for the video coz his suggestions were so sub-standard that would never do justice to the footage. The cameras and lenses promised in the contract and that were actually used were totally different and compromised the quality to another level. We were devasted looking at the raw footage. To add to that, there was no cinematic footage for our reception. And guess what that was the only best camera and was operated by him. He was no where to be seen during the reception coz of which there was no footage. When I questioned him on that, his ridiculous defence was that "most clients do not want too much footage of the reception in the cinematic video." Even if that was 1% true, I believe that decision is to be taken by the client after seeing the footage and not by the photographer who chooses not to cover the reception. I felt like crying when I realised that a part of my wedding event wasn't covered. I can go on and on and on with this but I really don't know where to end this. It's been over 8 months now and I haven't received a final version of even one of the videos. I've spent long days checking out raw footage and sending long emails with corrections and changes but all in vain. I have always been promised that I will receive the final video in a day or two but I have no signs of it for weeks and he always comes up with some or the other excuse for that. And he has done this repeatedly. His words are of no value, seriously! I have never met someone so shameless in my life. I don't know whether to blame the team or the boss. As a group, they're extremely ineffective. They will test your patience to the core but won't give u the perfect deliverable and make this wedding a nightmare for you. Finally, I just want to caution all of you that if you really value the day and memories of your wedding (which I'm sure all of you do) please please please don't hire him. I know what I'm going through and would hope no one really goes through this. Some of his other clients have given up on him since he is not delivering. I've really written my heart out here coz I really thought this should be made public coz this is the most important day of your life and you don't want that to be stressful. I know I'm quite late on writing this review since most of you'll would have finalised on some wedding photographer. But even if you've already hired TPF and paid him an advance, it is not too late. For all you know those few thousand rupees lost would still give you a peace of mind post wedding. And for those who cannot afford to lose that (which is totally understandable) please don't pay the second instalment on or immediately after the wedding day. Pay him only once you receive all the raw photos or you're gonna have a really hard time getting them before the excitement of watching those photos dies. And also have a significant portion of the fee pending for the final deliverable of videos. I made a mistake of just having 20% as balance which has not kept him motivated enough to work on my project. I'm sure after this review, he is going to reply with something stupid that "we are sorry that we couldn't meet your expectatation. We value our clients and bla bla bla". But the more I listen to him it makes me even more angry but it will be interesting to read what TPF and specially Akash Roy will have to say on this. I really hope that after reading this, he finishes my project soon because I am sure I am not going to stop here if he doesn't.

This guy is the reason my son in law has gotten high blood pressure in the last month. My daughter got married 6 months ago and we don't have any videos delivered till now. My daughter and son in law have been trying to follow up with this guy for months but he's only given ridiculous excuses saying you'll get it next week and doesn't give anything. The work he's done so far is also shabby and so many events in our gujrati wedding have not been covered properly. Some vidhis, crowd, smaller events have not been covered property and now he's not even giving things on time. There have been weeks where he's literally gone underground with no responses. Don't ruin the most important day of your life by working with this unstable maniac. A wedding is such an important day and these are the memories of a lifetime don't risk them to save some money.

Biggest liar in the world, promised me 800 photographs from my wedding in Feb 2017. We are in Jan 2018 and I am yet to receive them. The photos he has sent me are all duplicates. I am warning anyone hiring him he will dupe you. I urge you not to hire him. I'd suggest your better off not having a photographer than hiring him he is an absolute liar

We met TPF through an online portal and initially we were a bit skeptical about them as there was no reference we had. However in the first meeting itself, Akash made it comfortable for us with regards to all the areas of wedding coverage & costing options. We had done a lot of research in the market regarding wedding shoot pricing and TPF turned out to be very competitive with their pricing & overall quality of product. I personally liked the work ethic of Akash and he has never refrained from doing changes or adding inputs. They have taken a while to give us the final product but we have zero complains with the quality of work or after service. This guy is such a big Jerk ...the way he portrays himself as if he was born in London and by mistakenly he landed in Mumbai... He will charge you a bomb by showing you all the pics and videos... Later there will be a stupid person sent over just the way our house repair contractors get some labourers from the road. Akash and his entire team are amazing artitsts and good people as well. My husband and I, as well as my entire family were overwhelmed with the pre wedding shoot and the wedding album. He and his team are a group of young, like minded people who do things in a slightly non-conventional manner.
