They worked closely with us for over six months and supported us through every step of the process. We had zero experience planning a wedding, and their advice was invaluable. We would whole-heartedly recommend using Namrata and the Two Fat Ladies team to help plan your wedding. As a Northern Irish and Indian couple, we were keen to work with planners that had experience planning intercultural marriages, and from the get-go we found Namrata diligent, communicative, approachable, and most importantly, always presenting a calming, relaxed demeanour. The last of these traits prevented the process from ever becoming too overwhelming. Her team, Cean and Vedika, were also fantastic and really helped during the planning process and ensured things moved smoothly on the days of the wedding. They all listened to what we wanted, offered great suggestions and insights, and helped make the wedding an unforgettable experience for us and all our guests. Though we could cite lots of specific examples of why we were pleased with their work, one in particular stands out. On the day of the Sangeet, there was an unseasonal rain shower at our wedding venue in Goa. We had planned to hold the event on the hotel lawn, but with the rain showing no signs of abating, the Two Fat Ladies team were able to usher in some last-minute changes and stage it in a nearby hall, moving all of the décor, furniture, catering facilities, and DJ equipment (not to mention our guests) into a building that didn’t feel big enough to accommodate it all, shouldering the burden of that stress all the while. The transformation inside the hall was incredible; it was hard to believe it was the same featureless room we had viewed during a hotel visit several months earlier. You may ask yourself if you even need a planner. Yes, you do. The Two Fat Ladies were worth their weight in gold.

We worked with Namrata and the Two Fat Ladies team for my sisters wedding in March 2025 in Jaipur. Even though the wedding was in Jaipur, and they are based in Mumbai, we got them on board as our events team since we had done another wedding with them in 2019 and we would possibly never think of working with any other wedding planner given the excellent experience we had. Namrata was not just a wedding planner but more like family and a strong anchor who kept going at a steady pace. She was able to smoothly tide over all hiccups and handled any conflicts very maturely. Our experience working with Namrata was just fantastic. Her vision and attention to detail is unmatched. Not only did my husband and I get the PERFECT wedding, but all our guests told us it was the best wedding they have attended. We wanted a small destination wedding with our closest friends and family - a very intimate celebration with fun games and ice breakers to get the family together. And what we got was all that and more in the most stunning venue with the most fabulous food. Her ability to really understand her clients and bring to life their ideas is truly something else. Review Two Fat Ladies Choosing the team of Two Fat Ladies and specifically Namrata as our wedding planner, is hands down one of the best decisions we have ever made! We started to look for wedding planners around 1.5 years before our wedding and Namrata stood out to us immediately when we first talked to her about what we had envisioned for our wedding. For us it was important to choose a planner that knows the industry, is organized and most importantly can work with people that live abroad, as we live in Switzerland. And clearly the Two Fat Ladies fulfilled all these criteria. The entire planning process was pleasant and accompanied by unwavering commitment and determination by the Two Fat Ladies to ensure we would get our dream wedding. Be it through having meetings at any given time (due to the time difference), negotiating with vendors and bringing us the best possible deal out there, and meticulously keeping track of expenses. At any milestone of the planning process, we could trust Namrata to give us a full assessment of the situation by clearly communicating if an idea of ours was feasible and if so, how it would impact on our budget. In the rare cases where something was difficult to achieve, she would figure out a way to make it happen. Throughout the planning process we became more and more secure in our decision to let the Two Fat Ladies handle our wedding. We gave them our full trust and we were not disappointed. The cherry on top (and in our opinion one of the most important aspects) was their presence and handling of the wedding on the day off. We had a large crowd coming from overseas, many of them being in India for the first time, and we knew we needed someone to hold the ship down and at the same time let us enjoy our special days. And let us tell you they delivered! From the start of the weekend until the end, we were able to enjoy every single second of it without being confronted with issues or unforeseen complications! And only after the wedding was over, we came to know all that Namrata and her team did for us. For example, we had planned a haldi ceremony outside, but alas the weather had other plans. Namrata and her team pulled an all-nighter, moved all the decorations into a beautiful inside area, and decorated the space in such a detailed way that in the end the haldi became one of our absolute favorite events of the weekend. And besides their commitment to our vision of the perfect wedding and their determination to make it happen, the attention to detail and infusing the entire weekend with the essence of us and our relationship has truly blown us, our families, and our friends away. We cannot stress this enough, their attention to detail was nothing short of incredible. And we are not talking about the general details of an event, we mean the smallest imaginable details that one can easily miss during the wedding but then seeing it on the photos or hearing about it from friends and family that appreciated it, sweetens the memory of the wedding even more. All in all, Namrata and the team of the Two Fat Ladies have made sure that we have memories that we can cherish for the rest of our lives. From the first stages of planning, through months of preparation, and lastly executing what in our eyes was the perfect wedding.
