I booked Kapila after seeing her work on Instagram and speaking to her once. What I loved about her makeup is how minimal it is. She uses very few layers, focuses a lot on skin prep, and the result is skin that looks like skin. Even after 15–16 hours, dancing and sweating, the makeup stayed intact and fresh. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to god for having found Kapila on Instagram a year before my wedding (no exaggeration intended). After being on several exhaustive calls with various makeup artists, speaking to Kapila was a big relief. The makeup price wasn't the catch, but the tone an artist sets for themselves while talking to a client on a call is important. The amount of time she spent explaining the whole process was reassuring. Her polite and kind behaviour made me feel open to exploring new ideas and comfortable sharing my own ideas as well. She ensured she was easy to access and could be in touch. In the end, we could work up our mood boards together, and the final result was that I felt the most beautiful bride on my special day. I am not big on makeup, and I wanted skin like makeup for me, and she did it all. I chose the premium make up look. She actually knows what she is doing, and, in my opinion, she has mastered the minimalist makeup look, which is quite evident from her Instagram page as well.
