This was my brother's wedding at the historic Alila Fort Bishangarh, Jaipur. We were in the final stages of planning and arrangements, feeling slightly uncertain about our choices. Since the couple lacked extensive experience in booking vendors—being mostly NRI clients unfamiliar with local practices—we were particularly eager to find someone capable of handling diverse requests with efficiency and professionalism. We wanted an organizer who understood the couple's specific cultural and aesthetic preferences, could work within our defined budget, and help oversee every detail seamlessly. We were recommended Prerna through a mutual acquaintance from our circle, and after browsing her Instagram portfolio showcasing her elegant event setups, we felt confident. What truly impressed us about Prerna and her team was their remarkable flexibility; they didn’t pressure us financially and made genuine efforts to align their services with our budget constraints. Their execution beyond expectations—delivering more than initially promised—was evident in the thoughtful touches and additional services included without us even asking. Notably, communication was flawless throughout the process—there was never any confusion or oversight. We are profoundly grateful to her entire team, especially the Hospitality Team, who expertly managed international guests arriving from countries like the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. They coordinated the entire booking process, created detailed itineraries a full day before the wedding, and organized plans for the day after the celebrations. Their presence from early morning until late evening ensured every aspect ran smoothly. Cheers to the dedicated team, and thank you so much for your dedication and hard work!

Amazing & Outstanding! We signed up with them just 30 days before the wedding, and couldn’t be happier for doing so. The decor team was outstanding and they delivered more than what was discussed on the mood board, the attention to detail was amazing, they improvised on their own. All 4 functions were one better than the other. Full marks to them for all their effort, thanks a ton Prerna and her team. Coming to the events bit, it was absolutely smooth, the RSVP handled by Pallavi was great, not one person had to wait at the airport for pickups, the check in’s were well organised and in time. The entire team; Pallavi, Ananya, Yash, Manisha, Tejaswini were friendly and helpful and accommodated our last minute requests. Thanks to Manish and his team! We hired this wedding planner for my sister’s wedding expecting professionalism and smooth coordination, but instead experienced disorganization, poor communication, and completely unacceptable behavior. Multiple things that were promised were not delivered, timelines were missed, and instead of fixing problems, the planner became defensive and unhelpful. The worst part was the way they misbehaved with the bride’s parents on the wedding day—rude, dismissive, and highly unprofessional. A wedding planner should reduce stress, not create it. This experience did the opposite, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

DISASTROUS! Kindly read the message. PS: A lot of the 5-star reviews you see here have been posted by their team itself. So please don't believe them. We got married in Jan 2026 at Fort Alila Bishangarh. We signed up with Prerna Singh Chhetri because we wanted a Jaipur-based team to ease the planning process. The process of working with them was severely traumatic, chaotic, and deeply unprofessional, completely defeating the purpose of hiring a wedding planner. To be very clear, this is not a full-service wedding planning company, despite how they market themselves. They only handle décor. All wedding planning and on-ground management during the actual wedding days was outsourced to another company, something that was never transparently disclosed to us at the time of signing. IMPORTANT: The most serious issue needs to be highlighted upfront. Her partner, Manish, behaved in an aggressive, threatening, and humiliating manner with us. Before our sangeet (which was the last event), he shouted at us in front of our guests, threatened to remove all décor unless immediate payment was made, and said: “If you don’t have any money, come to my car, I have 50 lakhs in cash. Take it.” He refused to speak privately, creating a public scene that caused guests to step out of their rooms. It was extremely humiliating for the entire family. When he finally agreed to speak privately, he refused to acknowledge any mistakes and only wanted to collect his money and leave. His behaviour felt intimidating and goon-like, which no couple should ever experience at their wedding. I was left in tears before my final function, and the stress affected my health so badly that I fell sick and had to be rushed to the hospital the next morning. We had a two-day wedding, and Prerna Chhetri, the founder, did not show up at all. On Day 2, when serious issues arose with Manish, I called her 5–7 times—she neither answered nor called back. I have still not heard from her. One month before the wedding, during a call to discuss the event flow, Manish did not know our wedding schedule. When questioned, he said: “Ma’am, hum 50 shaadiyaan handle kar rahe hain, aur aapki sirf ek shaadi hai. Aap kaise expect kar sakte ho ki humein sab kuch yaad hoga?” This statement alone reflects their complete lack of accountability and professionalism. Communication throughout the process was negligent. Calls scheduled by their own team were missed, messages went unanswered, and nothing progressed unless we followed up 3–7 times. My partner and I ended up managing most of the planning, coordination, and problem-solving ourselves. This lack of communication extended to external vendors as well. Our videography team, a highly reputed team from Delhi, personally called us one week before the wedding to inform us that Prerna’s team had not been responding at all for coordination. When they finally did respond, the videography team informed us that the communication was rude and arrogant. As a result, vendors were forced to coordinate directly with us, adding immense stress in the final days. The décor was not delivered as promised or approved. For example, the haldi décor was finalized in lavender, but what was executed was yellow, pink, and orange, with only the upholstery being lavender. When confronted, we were dismissively told, “Yaha toh yehi lavender hai.” The varmala stage was also not decorated as promised. The sangeet stage was another absolute disaster. What was promised and what was delivered were on extreme ends. Similar discrepancies occurred across the wedding, sangeet, and haldi functions. Only the carnival décor was delivered as promised. Additionally, the DJ booked by them disappeared immediately after the varmala, despite being instructed to play through the wedding event. Despite explicitly requesting that all planning be closed at least 20 days before the wedding, approvals and decisions were pushed until the very last day, causing extreme stress. We strongly urge couples to stay away from this team. They misrepresent their services, lack basic professionalism, and create unnecessary emotional distress during what should be the most important days of your life.

We honestly cannot thank Prerna and her team at The Diaries enough for everything they did for our wedding. Planning a wedding from another country is never easy, but Prerna made the entire experience completely stress-free for us. We don’t live in India anymore, yet she made sure we never once felt that distance. From the smallest details to the biggest decisions, she handled everything so seamlessly that we could actually enjoy the process. From decor to hospitality, the execution was flawless. The decor was stunning and thoughtfully done, and every event felt beautiful, warm, and personal. The hospitality was equally incredible. Our guests were taken care of so well, and we kept hearing how smooth, comfortable, and well-managed everything felt. That, more than anything, meant the world to us. A huge shout-out to her amazing team, Manish, Siddharth, Meenal, and Ishita. You were always around, always calm, always smiling, and always on top of everything. From managing last-minute changes to handling logistics quietly in the background, you made everything look effortless. And Prerna, truly, you are a rockstar. Every time something felt overwhelming and you said, “Don’t worry, it’ll be done,” we should have listed because every single time, it was done perfectly. You didn’t just deliver, you consistently over delivered. Your calm, clarity, and genuine care made all the difference. Thank you for making our wedding so special and for pouring your heart into every detail. We are so grateful to the entire The Diaries team for creating memories we will cherish forever. Could not have asked for better people to do this journey with.
