Amazing & Outstanding! We signed up with them just 30 days before the wedding, and couldn’t be happier for doing so. The decor team was outstanding and they delivered more than what was discussed on the mood board, the attention to detail was amazing, they improvised on their own. All 4 functions were one better than the other. Full marks to them for all their effort, thanks a ton Prerna and her team. Coming to the events bit, it was absolutely smooth, the RSVP handled by Pallavi was great, not one person had to wait at the airport for pickups, the check in’s were well organised and in time. We hired this wedding planner for my sister’s wedding expecting professionalism and smooth coordination, but instead experienced disorganization, poor communication, and completely unacceptable behavior. Multiple things that were promised were not delivered, timelines were missed, and instead of fixing problems, the planner became defensive and unhelpful. The worst part was the way they misbehaved with the bride’s parents on the wedding day—rude, dismissive, and highly unprofessional. A wedding planner should reduce stress, not create it. This experience did the opposite, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

We got married in Jan 2026 at Fort Alila Bishangarh. We signed up with Prerna Singh Chhetri because we wanted a Jaipur-based team to ease the planning process. The process of working with them was severely traumatic, chaotic, and deeply unprofessional, completely defeating the purpose of hiring a wedding planner. To be very clear, this is not a full-service wedding planning company, despite how they market themselves. They only handle décor. All wedding planning and on-ground management during the actual wedding days was outsourced to another company, something that was never transparently disclosed to us at the time of signing. IMPORTANT: The most serious issue needs to be highlighted upfront. Her partner, Manish, behaved in an aggressive, threatening, and humiliating manner with us. Before our sangeet (which was the last event), he shouted at us in front of our guests, threatened to remove all décor unless immediate payment was made, and said: “If you don’t have any money, come to my car, I have 50 lakhs in cash. Take it.” He refused to speak privately, creating a public scene that caused guests to step out of their rooms. It was extremely humiliating for the entire family. When he finally agreed to speak privately, he refused to acknowledge any mistakes and only wanted to collect his money and leave. His behaviour felt intimidating and goon-like, which no couple should ever experience at their wedding. I was left in tears before my final function, and the stress affected my health so badly that I fell sick and had to be rushed to the hospital the next morning. We had a two-day wedding, and Prerna Chhetri, the founder, did not show up at all. On Day 2, when serious issues arose with Manish, I called her 5–7 times—she neither answered nor called back. I have still not heard from her. One month before the wedding, during a call to discuss the event flow, Manish did not know our wedding schedule. When questioned, he said: “Ma’am, hum 50 shaadiyaan handle kar rahe hain, aur aapki sirf ek shaadi hai. Aap kaise expect kar sakte ho ki humein sab kuch yaad hoga?” This statement alone reflects their complete lack of accountability and professionalism. Communication throughout the process was negligent. Calls scheduled by their own team were missed, messages went unanswered, and nothing progressed unless we followed up 3–7 times. My partner and I ended up managing most of the planning, coordination, and problem-solving ourselves. This lack of communication extended to external vendors as well. Our videography team, a highly reputed team from Delhi, personally called us one week before the wedding to inform us that Prerna’s team had not been responding at all for coordination. When they finally did respond, the videography team informed us that the communication was rude and arrogant. As a result, vendors were forced to coordinate directly with us, adding immense stress in the final days. The décor was not delivered as promised or approved. For example, the haldi décor was finalized in lavender, but what was executed was yellow, pink, and orange, with only the upholstery being lavender. When confronted, we were dismissively told, “Yaha toh yehi lavender hai.” The varmala stage was also not decorated as promised. The sangeet stage was another absolute disaster. What was promised and what was delivered were on extreme ends. Similar discrepancies occurred across the wedding, sangeet, and haldi functions. Only the carnival décor was delivered as promised. Additionally, the DJ booked by them disappeared immediately after the varmala, despite being instructed to play through the wedding event. Despite explicitly requesting that all planning be closed at least 20 days before the wedding, approvals and decisions were pushed until the very last day, causing extreme stress. We strongly urge couples to stay away from this team. They misrepresent their services, lack basic professionalism, and create unnecessary emotional distress during what should be the most important days of your life.

We honestly cannot thank Prerna and her team at The Diaries enough for everything they did for our wedding. Planning a wedding from another country is never easy, but Prerna made the entire experience completely stress-free for us. We don’t live in India anymore, yet she made sure we never once felt that distance. The decor was stunning and thoughtfully done, and every event felt beautiful, warm, and personal. The hospitality was equally incredible. We had an extremely stressful experience working with Prerna, Manish, and their team as our wedding planners. When we first signed with them about eight months before our wedding, they were highly responsive and made big promises, as any bad vendor would. However, once the contract was signed, their enthusiasm disappeared, and we had to chase them for every single detail. They provided no proactive support in planning. As a bride and groom, we ended up booking all the main vendors ourselves, and any input from them would only come after repeatedly following up—sometimes up to ten times. They never took initiative, and we constantly had to remind them of even the smallest details. As an NRI couple, we were highly disappointed by their lack of communication and professionalism. Even in the final days leading up to the wedding, they remained disorganized. Five days before the event, we were still reminding them to print essential materials. Instead of easing our stress, we had to handhold them through everything. On the wedding day, their planner, Manish, never even met us once, fully aware of how unhappy we were. One of the worst parts of the experience was that, even minutes before I walked down the aisle (and before every major event), I kept receiving calls from their team asking about logistical details—where to provide food for vendors, whether to arrange cabs for guests, etc. These are valid questions but should have been addressed well in advance, not on the wedding day. This lack of preparation made it clear that they were uninterested and disorganized. Key details were also completely ignored. We had explicitly discussed a longer and wider mirror aisle, but they provided a short one instead. We also planned for sun protection covers during the pheras, as the event was outdoors under the scorching sun, yet they failed to arrange them, causing discomfort for our guests.They also added some other couple's name and logo on our stage! Their attitude when questioned was rude and dismissive. While their décor was good, that was the only positive aspect of our experience. As planners, they were unreliable and not worth the event management fee. The sangeet stage was of low quality, with a carpet that was poorly laid out, creating a safety hazard for guests. Throughout the process, we felt stuck with them simply because we had paid advances, and we deeply regretted that decision. If you value honesty, integrity, and communication, I strongly advise against hiring them. If anything, they may be useful as décor vendors—but certainly not as wedding planners.

We hired The Diaries by Prerna and Manish for Mahak and Vaibhav's wedding, and they did an outstanding job! Every event was beautifully planned and perfectly executed. Prerna and Manish were professional, creative, and easy to work with. The color combination,theme and decor was superb. I got married in December at Hyatt Regency Mansarovar Jaipur. I cant across Prerna and Manish from the diaries event while planning my wedding. It was a great decision. They were really great at their work right from the exquisite decor to the amazing management. We didn't have to worry about everything as it was timely done. The shadow was really nice, smart and intelligent. She was really professional and spontaneous and I've never seen such good service before! They took care of the smallest details and even added extra things from their side. They never said no for anything and gave their honest feedback on planning. Prerna was always available on call despite me calling from America at odd hours due to the time difference. The decor was exhilarating, straight out of a fairy tale. So The Diaries was chosen the groom side and we had our inhibitions about the team as they were young in business and full of ideas and energy, par woh 20-25 years ke experience waale tag nahin tha. The Diaries organised the most gorgeous wedding for us and our guests in Bhanwar Singh Palace Jaipur. They worked very patiently with my husband and me, as well as our families to accommodate all of our tastes and preferences! Moreover, I live outside India and my husband travels abroad frequently and Prerna, Manish and Chetan were very accommodating of time zones and made themselves available based on times convenient for us. We had friends and family fly in from all over the world for the wedding and everyone raved about how spectacular it was. The team paid close attention to detail to every aspect of the arrangement - the color palette, the decor elements, the entertainment groups, the anchor, the wedding gifts as well as the stationary and they ensured that the wedding reflected who we were. Our guests had a fabulous time and so did we! Moreover the hospitality was impeccable, Navya and Divyanshu were invaluable as shadows, often preempting our needs before us. Siddhartha did a fantastic job in coordinating with our guests weeks before the wedding to ensure they had all the necessary details to plan their trip as well as had a seamless stay. Worst experience ever, they don't have the etiquette to talk to there client and the owner and her partner show off as they know about everything around them, and there hospitality team is the worst. Rooms were provided so late, there staff doesn't wear proper clothes and they were looking like they didn't have any sleep the night before the sangeet function. the team was so short of manpower.

We had the most memorable wedding with the help of Diaries. The have been super professional, fast, and very detail-oriented.
